আল-মুমতাহিনা: 11

And if you have lost any of your wives to the disbelievers and you subsequently obtain [something], then give those whose wives have gone the equivalent of what they had spent. And fear Allāh, in whom you are believers.

And if any of your wives have gone from you to the disbelievers, and you have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have gone, the equivalent of what they had spent (on their Mahr). And fear Allah in Whom you believe.

And if some of your (Non-Muslim) wives have slipped from you, (and their present Non-Muslim husbands do not pay to you the dower as aforesaid,) and you have your turn (of paying dower to the previous Non-Muslim husbands of your present wives), then (instead of paying dower to them,) give those whose wives have slipped the like amount of what they had paid (to them). And fear Allah, the One in whom you believe.

And if you fail to receive from the unbelievers a part of the bridal-due of your disbelieving wives, and then your turn comes, pay to those who have been left on the other side an amount the like of the bridal-due that they have paid. And have fear of Allah in Whom you believe.

And if any of your wives have gone from you unto the disbelievers and afterward ye have your turn (of triumph), then give unto those whose wives have gone the like of that which they have spent, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers.

And if any of your wives deserts you to the Unbelievers, and ye have an accession (by the coming over of a woman from the other side), then pay to those whose wives have deserted the equivalent of what they had spent (on their dower). And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe.

তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে কেউ যদি (কাফির হওয়ার কারণে তোমাদের) হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফিরদের নিকট থেকে যায় এবং (তাদের কোন স্ত্রীলোক তোমাদের কাছে চলে আসার ফলে) তোমাদের যদি সুযোগ আসে, তখন (তোমাদের মধ্যে) যাদের স্ত্রীগণ হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে তাদেরকে তারা (তাদের স্ত্রীদের মোহর স্বরূপ) যা ব্যয় করেছে তার সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান করবে। তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর যার প্রতি তোমরা ঈমান এনেছ।

আর তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফিরদের নিকট চলে যায়, অতঃপর যদি তোমরা যুদ্ধজয়ী হয়ে গনীমত লাভ কর, তাহলে যাদের স্ত্রীরা চলে গেছে, তাদেরকে তারা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তার সমপরিমাণ প্রদান কর। আর তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী।

তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেহ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফিরদের নিকট চলে যায় এবং তোমাদের যদি সুযোগ আসে তখন যাদের স্ত্রীরা হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে তাদের জন্য তারা (কাফিরেরা) যা ব্যয় করেছে তার সম পরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান করবে। ভয় কর আল্লাহকে যাকে তোমরা বিশ্বাস কর।

আর তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ হাতছাড়া হয়ে কাফিরদের মধ্যে রয়ে যায় অতঃপর যদি তোমরা যুদ্ধজয়ী হয়ে গনীমত লাভ কর, তাহলে যাদের স্ত্রীরা হাতছাড়া হয়ে গেছে তাদেরকে, তারা যা ব্যয় করেছে তার সমপরিমাণ প্ৰদান কর, আর আল্লাহর তাকওয়া অবলম্বন কর, যাঁর উপর তোমরা ঈমান এনেছ।

তোমাদের স্ত্রীদের মধ্যে যদি কেউ (মুরতাদ হয়ে) কাফিরদের নিকট চলে যায় অতঃপর তোমরা যদি তাদের ওপর বিজয়ী হও তখন যাদের স্ত্রী চলে গেছে তাদেরকে, তারা যা ব্যয় করেছে তার সমপরিমাণ অর্থ প্রদান করবে, ভয় কর আল্লাহকে যাঁর প্রতি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী।

১১. যদি ধরে নেয়া যায় যে, তোমাদের কিছু নারী ধর্মচ্যুত হয়ে কাফিরদের নিকট চলে গিয়েছে এবং তোমরা কাফিরদের নিকট তাদের মহর চাইলে তারা তা প্রদান করে নি এমতাবস্থায় তোমরা কাফিরদের থেকে গনীমতের যে সম্পদ লাভ করো তা থেকে যে সব নারী ধর্মচ্যুত হয়ে চলে গিয়েছে তাদের স্বামীদেরকে তাদের কর্তৃক মহর হিসাবে দেয়া অর্থ প্রদান করো। আর তোমরা যে আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাসী তাঁর আদেশ-নিষেধ মান্য করার মাধ্যমে তাঁকে ভয় করো।
