আল-মুমতাহিনা: 2

If they gain dominance over you, they would be [i.e., behave] to you as enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they wish you would disbelieve.

Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.

Should they have access to you, they will become your enemies, and will stretch their hands and tongues towards you with evil; and they desire that you should reject the (true) faith.

If they could overcome you, they would act as your foes and would hurt you by their hands and tongues, and would love to see you become unbelievers.

If they have the upper hand of you, they will be your foes, and will stretch out their hands and their tongues toward you with evil (intent), and they long for you to disbelieve.

If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth.

তারা তোমাদেরকে জব্দ করতে পারলেই শত্রুর আচরণ করবে, আর তোমাদের অনিষ্ট করার জন্য তারা তাদের হাত ও মুখের ভাষা সম্প্রসারিত করবে আর তারা চাইবে যে, তোমরাও যেন কুফুরী কর।

তারা যদি তোমাদেরকে বাগে পায় তবে তোমাদের শত্রু হবে এবং মন্দ নিয়ে তোমাদের দিকে তাদের হাত ও যবান বাড়াবে; তারা কামনা করে যদি তোমরা কুফরি করতে!

তোমাদেরকে কাবু করতে পারলে তারা হবে তোমাদের শত্রু এবং হাত ও জিহবা দ্বারা তোমাদের অনিষ্ট সাধন করবে এবং কামনা করবে যেন তোমরা কুফরী কর।

তোমাদেরকে কাবু করতে পারলে তারা হবে তোমাদের শত্রু এবং হাত ও জিহ্‌বা দ্বারা তোমাদের অনিষ্ট সাধন করবে, আর তারা কামনা করে যদি তোমরা কুফরী করতে।

যদি তারা তোমাদেরকে পেয়ে যায় তারা তোমাদের হয়ে যাবে শত্রু এবং ক্ষতি সাধানের উদ্দেশ্যে তাদের হাত ও মুখ তোমাদের প্রতি সম্প্রসারিত করবে এবং চাইবে যে, তোমরা কুফরী কর।

২. তারা যদি তোমাদেরকে হাতের নাগালে পায় তাহলে তাদের অন্তরে লুক্কায়িত শত্রুতার বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটাবে এবং তোমাদের প্রতি কষ্ট প্রদান ও আঘাতের হাত প্রসারিত করবে। নিজেদের জিহ্বাকে গালমন্দ দ্বারা প্রলন্বিত করবে এবং তারা আকাক্সক্ষা পোষণ করবে যে, যাতে তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তদীয় রাসূলের সাথে কুফরী করে তাদের মতো হয়ে যাও।
