আল-মুনাফিকুন: 2

They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allāh. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what they used to do.

They have made their oaths a shield, and thus they have prevented (others) from the way of Allah. Surely evil is what they have been doing.

They shelter behind their oath, and thus hinder their own selves and others from the Path of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do.

They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do,

They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah: truly evil are their deeds.

তারা তাদের শপথগুলোকে ঢাল হিসেবে ব্যবহার করে আর এ উপায়ে তারা মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে নিবৃত্ত করে। তারা যা করে তা কতই না মন্দ!

তারা নিজদের শপথকে ঢাল হিসেবে ব্যবহার করে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিরত রাখে। তারা যা করছে, নিশ্চিয় তা কতইনা মন্দ!

তারা তাদের শপথগুলিকে ঢাল রূপে ব্যবহার করে, আর তারা আল্লাহর পথ হতে মানুষকে নিবৃত্ত করে। তারা যা করছে তা কত মন্দ!

আর তাদের শপথগুলোকে ঢালরূপে ব্যবহার করে, ফলে তারা আল্লাহর পথ থেকে মানুষকে নিবৃত্ত করে। তারা যা করে, নিশ্চয় তা কতই না মন্দ!

তারা তাদের শপথগুলোকে ঢালস্বরূপ ব্যবহার করে আর এ উপায়ে মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বাধা দেয়। তারা যা করছে তা কতই না মন্দ।

২. তারা নিজেদের ঈমানের দাবীর উপর কৃত শপথকে হত্যা ও বন্দী থেকে মুক্তির বাহানা বানিয়েছে এবং মানুষকে সন্দেহ ও বিভ্রান্তিতে ফেলে দিয়ে তাদেরকে ঈমান থেকে ফিরিয়ে রেখেছে। তারা যে মিথ্যা শপথ ও মুনাফিকী করছে তা কতোইনা মন্দ আচরণ!
