আল-মুনাফিকুন: 8

They say, "If we return to al-Madīnah, the more honored [for power] will surely expel therefrom the more humble." And to Allāh belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.

They (hyprocrites) say: "If we return to Al-Madinah, indeed the more honourable ('Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul, the chief of hyprocrites at Al-Madinah) will expel therefrom the meaner (i.e. Allah's Messenger SAW)." But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not.

They say, “If we return to Madīnah, the more honorable ones will drive out the meaner ones from there.” And to Allah belongs the honour, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.

They say: “When we return to Madinah, the honourable ones will drive out from it those that are abject.” In truth, all honour belongs to Allah, and to His Messenger, and to the believers. But the hypocrites do not know.

They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.

They say, "If we return to Medina, surely the more honourable (element) will expel therefrom the meaner." But honour belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and to the Believers; but the Hypocrites know not.

তারা বলে- ‘আমরা যদি মাদীনায় প্রত্যাবর্তন করি, তাহলে সম্মানীরা অবশ্য অবশ্যই হীনদেরকে সেখানে থেকে বহিষ্কার করবে।’ কিন্তু সমস্ত মান মর্যাদা তো আল্লাহর, তাঁর রসূলের এবং মু’মিনদের; কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা তা জানে না।

তারা বলে, যদি আমরা মদীনায় ফিরে যাই তাহলে অবশ্যই সেখান থেকে প্রবল দুর্বলকে বহিষ্কার করবে। কিন্তু সকল মর্যাদা তো আল্লাহর, তাঁর রাসূলের ও মুমিনদের। কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা তা জানে না।

তারা বলেঃ আমরা মাদীনায় প্রত্যাবর্তন করলে সেখান হতে প্রবল দুর্বলকে বহিস্কৃত করবেই। কিন্তু সম্মানতো আল্লাহরই, আর তাঁর রাসূল ও মু’মিনদের। কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা এটা জানেনা।

তারা বলে, ‘আমরা মদীনায় ফিরে আসলে সেখান থেকে শক্তিশালীরা অবশ্যই দুর্বলদেরকে বের করে দেবে।’ অথচ শক্তি-সম্মান তো আল্লাহরই, আর তাঁর রাসূল ও মুমিনদের। কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা এটা জানে না।

তারা বলে : আমরা যদি মদীনায় প্রত্যাবর্তন করি, তবে সেখান হতে সম্মানিতরা অবশ্যই হীনদেরকে বহিস্কার করবে; কিন্তু মান-সম্মান তো আল্লাহরই, তাঁর রাসূল ও মু’মিনদের; কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা তা জানে না।

৮. তাদের নেতা আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উবাই বলে: আমরা যদি মদীনায় ফেরত যাই তাহলে আমাদের মধ্যে যারা সম্মানী তথা আমি ও আমার জাতি যারা অসম্মানী তথা মোহাম্মদ ও তার সাথীদেরকে অবশ্যই সেখান থেকে বের করে দেবো। অথচ সম্মান তো কেবল আল্লাহ, তদীয় রাসূল ও মুমিনদের জন্য। তা আব্দুল্লাহ ইবনু উবাই ও তার সাথীদের জন্য নয়। কিন্তু মুনাফিকরা জানে না যে, সম্মান মূলতঃ আল্লাহ, তদীয় রাসূল ও মুমিনদের জন্য।
