আত-তাহরীম: 10

Allāh presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so they [i.e., those prophets] did not avail them from Allāh at all, and it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."

Allah sets forth an example for those who disbelieve, the wife of Nuh (Noah) and the wife of Lout (Lot). They were under two of our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed their (husbands by rejecting their doctrine) so they [Nuh (Noah) and Lout (Lot)] benefited them (their respective wives) not, against Allah, and it was said: "Enter the Fire along with those who enter!"

Allah has cited for the disbelievers the example of the wife of NūH and the wife of LūT. Both were married with two of Our righteous servants, but betrayed them. So they could not benefit them against Allah at all, and it was said, “Enter the Fire along with those who enter.”

Allah has set forth for the unbelievers the parable of the wives of Noah and Lot. They were wedded to two of Our righteous servants, but each acted treacherously with her husband, and their husbands could be of no avail to them against Allah. The two of them were told: “Enter the Fire with all the others who enter it.”

Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.

Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"

যারা কুফুরীর নীতি অবলম্বন করে তাদের ব্যাপারে আল্লাহ নূহের স্ত্রী আর লূতের স্ত্রীর দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করছেন। এরা ছিল আমার দু’নেককার বান্দার অধীনে। কিন্তু তারা দু’জনেই তাদের স্বামীদ্বয়ের প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহর শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না। তাদেরকে বলা হল, ‘‘তোমরা দু’জন জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ কর (অন্যান্য) প্রবেশকারীদের সঙ্গে।’’

যারা কুফরি করে তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ নূহের স্ত্রীর ও লূতের স্ত্রীর উদাহরণ পেশ করেন; তারা আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য হতে দু’জন সৎবান্দার অধীনে ছিল, কিন্তু তারা উভয়ে তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল, অতঃপর আল্লাহর আযাব হতে রক্ষায় নূহ ও লূত তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি। বলা হল, ‘তোমরা উভয়ে প্রবেশকারীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ কর।’

আল্লাহ কাফিরদের জন্য নূহ ও লূতের স্ত্রীর দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থিত করছেন; তারা ছিল আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে দুই সংকল্প পরায়ণ বান্দার অধীন। কিন্তু তারা তাদের প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল, ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহর শাস্তি হতে রক্ষা করতে পারলনা এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামে প্রবেশকারীদের সাথে তোমরাও তাতে প্রবেশ কর।

যারা কুফরী করে, আল্লাহ তাদের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করছেন নূহের স্ত্রী ও লূতের স্ত্রীর, তারা ছিল আমাদের বান্দাদের মধ্যে দুই সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার অধীন। কিন্তু তারা তাদের প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহর শাস্তি হতে রক্ষা করতে পারলেন না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হল, তোমরা উভয়ে প্ৰবেশকারীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে প্ৰবেশ কর।’

আল্লাহ কাফিরদের জন্য নূহের স্ত্রী ও লূতের স্ত্রীর দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থাপন করেছেন; তারা ছিল আমার বান্দাদের মধ্যে দুই সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার অধীন; কিন্তু তারা তাদের প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছিল, ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহর শাস্তি হতে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হল : জাহান্নামে প্রবেশকারীদের সাথে তোমরাও তাতে প্রবেশ কর।

১০. আল্লাহ তাঁর সাথে ও তদীয় রাসূলের সাথে কুফরীকারীদের দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করেছেন এভাবে যে, মুমিনদের সাথে তাদের সম্পর্ক কোন অবস্থাতেই উপকারে আসবে না। যেমন, আল্লাহর দু’জন নবী নূহ ও লুত (আলাইহিমাস-সালাম) এর স্ত্রীরা। তারা উভয় দু’জন সৎ বান্দার স্ত্রী ছিলো। তারা উভয় আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বারণ করা ও তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের লোকজনকে কুফরীর উপর সাহায্য প্রদানের মাধ্যমে নিজেদের স্বামীর সাথে খিয়ানত করে। ফলে এ দু’জন সৎ বান্দার স্ত্রী হওয়া তাদের কোন উপকারে আসে নি। বরং তাদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা কাফির ও ফাসিকদের সাথে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করো।
