আত-তাহরীম: 12

And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of ʿImrān, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel [i.e., Gabriel], and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.

And Maryam (Mary), the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Ruh [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allah: "Be!" and he was; that is 'Iesa (Jesus) - son of Maryam (Mary); as a Messenger of Allah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitin (i.e. obedient to Allah).

And (Allah has also cited the example of) Maryam, daughter of ‘Imrān who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her Our spirit, and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and His books, and she was one of the devout.

Allah has also set forth the parable of Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, and into whom We breathed of Our Spirit, and who testified to the words of her Lord and His Books. She was among the obedient.

And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.

And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).

আর (দৃষ্টান্ত দিচ্ছেন) ‘ইমরান-কন্যা মারইয়ামের যে তার লজ্জাস্থান সংরক্ষণ করেছিল, ফলে আমি তার মধ্যে আমার রূহ ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম। সে তার প্রতিপালকের বাণী ও তাঁর কিতাবসমূহে (তাওরাত, যবূর ও ইঞ্জীলে) বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল। সে ছিল অনুগত ও বিনতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

(আল্লাহ আরো উদাহরণ পেশ করেন) ইমরান কন্যা মারয়াম-এর, যে নিজের সতীত্ব রক্ষা করেছিল, ফলে আমি তাতে আমার রূহ থেকে ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম। আর সে তার রবের বাণীসমূহ ও তাঁর কিতাবসমূহের সত্যতা স্বীকার করেছিল এবং সে ছিল অনুগতদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

আরও দৃষ্টান্ত দিচ্ছেন ইমরান তনয়া মারইয়ামের, যে তার সতীত্ব রক্ষা করেছিল, ফলে আমি তার মধ্যে রূহ ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং সে তার রবের বাণী ও তাঁর কিতাবসমূহ সত্য বলে গ্রহণ করেছিল; সে ছিল অনুগতদের একজন।

আরও দৃষ্টান্ত পেশ করেন ‘ইমরান-কন্যা মারইয়ামের--- যে তার লজ্জাস্থানের পবিত্ৰতা রক্ষা করেছিল, ফলে আমরা তার মধ্যে ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম আমাদের রূহ হতে। আর সে তার রবের বাণী ও তাঁর কিতাবসমূহ সত্য বলে গ্রহণ করেছিল এবং সে ছিল অনুগতদের অন্যতম।

(আরো দৃষ্টান্ত দিচ্ছেন) ইমরানের কন্যা মারইয়ামের- যে তাঁর সতীত্ব রক্ষা করেছিল, ফলে আমি তাঁর মধ্যে আমার রূহ হতে ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং সে তাঁর প্রতিপালকের বাণী ও তাঁর কিতাবসমূহ সত্য বলে গ্রহণ করেছিল; সে ছিল অনুগতদের একজন।

১২. আল্লাহ তাঁর উপর ও তদীয় রাসূলের উপর ঈমান আনয়নকারীদের উদাহরণ পেশ করেছেন ইমরান তনয়া মারইয়ামের অবস্থার বর্ণনা দিয়ে। যে নিজ গুপ্তাঙ্গকে ব্যভিচার থেকে হিফাজত করে। ফলে আল্লাহ জিবরীলকে তাতে ফুৎকারের নির্দেশ দিলেন। তখন তিনি আল্লাহর কুদরতে ঈসা ইবনু মারইয়ামকে পিতা ব্যতিরেকেই গর্ভে ধারণ করেন। তিনি আল্লাহর বিধি-বিধান ও তাঁর রাসূলগণের উপর অবতীর্ণ তাঁর কিতাব সমূহকে সত্য বলে বিশ্বাস করেন। উপরন্তু তিনি আল্লাহর আদেশ-নিষেধ মান্য করার মাধ্যমে তাঁর অনুগত ব্যক্তিদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হন।
