আল-ফাতহ: 22

And if those [Makkans] who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper.

And if those who disbelieve fight against you, they certainly would have turned their backs, then they would have found neither a Wali (protector) nor a helper.

Had the disbelievers fought you, they would have certainly turned their backs, then they would have found neither a supporter nor a helper-

Had the unbelievers fought against you at that time, they would have turned their backs (in flight), and would have found none to protect or help them.

And if those who disbelieve join battle with you they will take to flight, and afterward they will find no protecting friend nor helper.

If the Unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then would they find neither protector nor helper.

কাফিরগণ যদি তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ বাঁধাত, তাহলে তারা অবশ্যই পিঠ ফিরিয়ে নিত, সে অবস্থায় তারা কোন পৃষ্ঠপোষক ও সাহায্যকারী পেত না।

আর যারা কুফরী করেছে তারা যদি তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে তবে অবশ্যই তারা পিঠ দেখিয়ে পালাবে। তারপর তারা কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।

কাফিরেরা তোমাদের মুকাবিলা করলে পরিণামে তারা অবশ্যই পৃষ্ঠ প্রদর্শন করত, তখন তারা কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পেতনা।

আর যারা কুফরী করেছে তারা যদি তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে তবে তারা অবশ্যই পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করবে, তারপর তারা কোনো অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।

কাফিররা যদি তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করত তাহলে অবশ্যই তারা পিছু হটে যেত এবং তারা কোনো অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী পেত না।

২২. হে মুমিন সম্প্রদায়! যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলে অবিশ্বাসী তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হলে তারা তোমাদের সামনে থেকে পরাজিত অবস্থায় পালাবে। অতঃপর তাদের দায়-দায়িত্ব বহনকারী কোন অভিভাবক পাবে না। আর না এমন কোন সাহায্যকারী পাবে যে তাদেরকে তোমাদের মোকাবেলায় সাহায্য করবে।
