আল-জিন: 12

And we have become certain that we will never cause failure to Allāh upon earth, nor can we escape Him by flight.

'And we think that we cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allah in the earth, nor can we escape (from the punishment) by flight.

and that we have now believed that we can never frustrate Allah on the earth, nor can we baffle Him by escape,

and that “we thought that we will neither be able to frustrate Allah on earth, nor frustrate Him by flight”;

And we know that we cannot escape from Allah in the earth, nor can we escape by flight.

'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight.

আমরা বুঝতে পেরেছি যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহকে পরাস্ত করতে পারব না, আর পালিয়েও তাঁকে অপারগ করতে পারব না।

‘আর আমরা তো বুঝতে পেরেছি যে, আমরা কিছুতেই যমীনের মধ্যে আল্লাহকে অপারগ করতে পারব না এবং পালিয়েও কখনো তাকে অপারগ করতে পারব না’।

এখন আমরা বুঝেছি যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহকে পরাভূত করতে পারবনা এবং পলায়ন করেও তাঁকে ব্যর্থ করতে পারবনা।

এও যে, আমরা বুঝেছি, আমরা যমীনে আল্লাহ্কে পরাভূত করতে পারব না এবং পালিয়েও তাঁকে ব্যর্থ করতে পারব না।

আর আমাদের একান্ত বিশ্বাস হয়ে গেছে যে, আমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহকে কোনক্রমে পরাভূত করতে পারবো না এবং পলায়ন করেও তাঁকে ব্যর্থ করতে পারব না।

১২. আমরা এ দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস রাখি যে, আল্লাহ যখন আমাদের ব্যাপারে কোন কিছুর ইচ্ছা পোষণ করেন তখন তা থেকে আমরা রেহাই পাবো না, না তা থেকে আমরা পালাতে পারবো। কেননা, তিনি আমাদের ব্যাপারে সম্যক অবগত।
