ইবরাহীম: 3

The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allāh, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. Those are in extreme error.

Those who prefer the life of this world instead of the Hereafter, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Islam) and seek crookedness therein - They are far astray.

to those who prefer the worldly life to the Hereafter and prevent (people) from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked. Those have gone too far in straying.

to those who have chosen the life of the world in preference to the Hereafter, who hinder people from the Way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked. They have gone far astray.

Those who love the life of the world more than the Hereafter, and debar (men) from the way of Allah and would have it crooked: such are far astray.

Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.

যারা আখেরাতের তুলনায় দুনিয়ার জিন্দিগীকে শ্রেয় জ্ঞান করে, যারা আল্লাহর পথ থেকে (লোকদেরকে) বিরত রাখে আর তাতে বক্রতা আনার আকাঙ্ক্ষা পোষণ করে। এরা গোমরাহীতে বহু দূরে চলে গেছে।

যারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাত থেকে অধিক পছন্দ করে, আর আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দেয় এবং তাতে বক্রতার সন্ধান করে; তারা ঘোরতর ভ্রষ্টতায় রয়েছে।

যারা পার্থিব জীবনকে পরকালিন জীবনের উপর প্রাধান্য দেয়, মানুষকে নিবৃত্ত করে আল্লাহর পথ হতে এবং তা (আল্লাহর পথ) বক্র করতে চায়; তারাইতো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছে।

যারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাত থেকে অধিক ভালবাসে এবং মানুষকে ফিরিয়ে রাখে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে, আর আল্লাহর পথ বাঁকা করতে চায়; তারাই ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে নিপতিত।

যারা দুনিয়ার জীবনকে আখিরাতের চেয়ে (অধিক) ভালবাসে, মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথ হতে বাধা দেয় এবং আল্লাহর পথ বক্র করতে চায়; তারাই তো ঘোর বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছে।

৩. যারা কাফির তারা দুনিয়ার জীবন ও তাতে থাকা অস্থায়ী নিয়ামতকে আখিরাত ও তাতে থাকা স্থায়ী নিয়ামতের উপর প্রাধান্য দেয় এবং মানুষকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে রাখে। তারা সর্বদা আল্লাহর পথে সন্দেহ ও বিকৃতি, সত্যবিমুখতা এবং অস্থিরতা সৃষ্টি করতে চায়। যাতে কেউ সে পথে না চলে। বস্তুতঃ এ বৈশিষ্ট্যাবলীর অধিকারীরা সত্য ও সঠিক থেকে বহু দূরে।
