আল-জাসিয়া: 17

And We gave them clear proofs of the matter [of religion]. And they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them - out of jealous animosity between themselves. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

And gave them clear proofs in matters [by revealing to them the Taurat (Torah)]. And they differed not until after the knowledge came to them, through envy among themselves. Verily, Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection about that wherein they used to differ.

and We gave them clear proofs of the Matter (i.e. the religion). So they did not fall into disagreement out of mutual jealousy, but after the knowledge had come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them, on the Day of Judgment, in the matters in which they used to differ.

We gave them clear directions in matters pertaining to religion. Yet they differed among themselves (not out of ignorance but) after knowledge had come to them; and they did so out of the desire to commit excesses against one another. On the Day of Resurrection Allah will judge among them regarding what they had differed.

And gave them plain commandments. And they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ.

And We granted them Clear Signs in affairs (of Religion): it was only after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms, through insolent envy among themselves. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment as to those matters in which they set up differences.

আর দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে তাদেরকে দিয়েছিলাম সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন। কিন্তু তাদের কাছে (সত্য মিথ্যা সম্পর্কিত নির্ভুল) জ্ঞান আসার পরও শুধু নিজেদের মধ্যে বাড়াবাড়ির কারণে তারা মতভেদ করেছিল। তারা যে বিষয়ে মতভেদ করত, তোমার প্রতিপালক কিয়ামাতের দিন সে বিষয়ে তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন।

আর আমি তাদেরকে দীনের যাবতীয় বিষয়ে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি দিয়েছিলাম। তাদের কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পরও কেবল পারস্পরিক হিংসা-বিদ্বেষবশত তারা মতবিরোধ করেছিল। তারা যে সব বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করত তোমার রব কিয়ামতের দিনে সে সব বিষয়ে মীমাংসা করে দেবেন।

তাদেরকে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ দান করেছিলাম দীন সম্পর্কে। তাদের নিকট জ্ঞান আসার পর তারা শুধু পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশতঃ বিরোধিতা করেছিল, তারা যে বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করত, তোমার রাব্ব কিয়ামাত দিবসে তাদের মধ্যে সেই বিষয়ের ফায়সালা করে দিবেন।

আর আমরা তাদেরকে দীনের যাবতীয় বিষয়ে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদি দান করেছিলাম। তাদের কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পরও তারা শুধু পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশতঃ মতবিরোধ করেছিল। তারা যে সব বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করত, নিশ্চয় আপনার রব কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে সে সব বিষয়ে ফয়সালা করে দেবেন।

এবং তাদেরকে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ দান করেছিলাম দীন সম্পর্কে, তাদের নিকট জ্ঞান আসার পর তারা শুধু পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশত : বিরোধিতা করেছিল, তারা যে বিষয়ে মতবিরোধ করত, অবশ্যই তোমার প্রতিপালাক কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে সে বিষয়ের ফায়সালা করে দেবেন।

১৭. আমি তাদেরকে বাতিল থেকে হককে পার্থক্য করার প্রমাণাদি দিয়েছি। অতঃপর আমার নবী মুহাম্মদ (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) কে প্রেরণ করার মাধ্যমে তাদের সাক্ষী দাঁড় করানোর পর তারা মতানৈক্যে লিপ্ত হয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের এই মতানৈক্যের দুঃসাহস প্রদর্শনে কেবল নেতৃত্ব ও পদমর্যাদার লোভে তাদের পরস্পরের অবিচারই দায়ী। হে রাসূল! আপনার রব দুনিয়াতে তাদের মতানৈক্যপূর্ণ বিষয়ে কিয়ামত দিবসে ফায়সালা করবেন। তখন কারা হকের উপর ছিলো আর কারা বাতিলের উপর ছিলো তিনি তা ব্যাখ্যা করে দিবেন।
