আল-আহকাফ: 27

And We have already destroyed what surrounds you of [those] cities, and We have diversified the signs [or verses] that perhaps they might return [from disbelief].

And indeed We have destroyed towns (populations) round about you, and We have (repeatedly) shown (them) the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in various ways that they might return (to the truth and believe in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism).

And We have (also) destroyed (other) towns around you, while We had given to them a variety of signs, so that they might return (from disbelief).

Surely We destroyed many a town around you. We sent Our Messages to them repeatedly and in diverse forms that they may eschew (their evil ways) and return (to Allah).

And verily We have destroyed townships round about you, and displayed (for them) Our revelation, that haply they might return.

We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).

আমি ধ্বংস করেছিলাম তোমাদের চারপাশের জনপদ। আমি নানাভাবে নিদর্শন দেখিয়েছিলাম যাতে তারা (সঠিক পথে) ফিরে আসে।

আর অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের পার্শ্ববর্তী জনপদসমূহ ধ্বংস করেছিলাম। আর আমি বিভিন্নভাবে আয়াতসমূহকে বর্ণনা করেছিলাম যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।

আমিতো ধ্বংস করেছিলাম তোমাদের চতুস্পার্শ্ববর্তী জনপদসমূহ; আমি তাদেরকে বিভিন্নভাবে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী বিবৃত করেছিলাম, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে সৎ পথে।

আর অবশ্যই আমরা ধ্বংস করেছিলাম তোমাদের চারপাশের জনপদসমূহ এবং আমরা বিভিন্নভাবে আয়াতসমূহ বিবৃত করেছিলাম, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।

তোমাদের আশপাশের এলাকার অনেক জনবসতি আমি ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করেছি যেন তারা ফিরে আসে।

২৭. হে মক্কাবাসী! আমি তোমাদের আশপাশের বসতিগুলোকে ধ্বংস করেছি তথা আদ, সামূদ, লুত সম্প্রদায় ও মাদয়ানবাসীকে। আর আমি তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বিভিন্নরূপে দলীল প্রমাণাদি উপস্থাপন করেছি যেন তারা কুফরী থেকে ফেরত আসে।
