আশ-শূরা: 27

And if Allāh had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Aware and Seeing.

And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them).

Should Allah expand the provision for His servants (to its full extent), they would spread mischief on earth; but He sends down what He wills in (due) measure. Surely, with regard to His slaves, He is All-Aware, Ever-Watchful.

If Allah were to grant ample sustenance to His servants they would go about transgressing in the land. But He sends down in due measure whatever (sustenance) He wills. Surely He is Well-Aware and All-Seeing concerning matters that relate to His servants.

And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sendeth down by measure as He willeth. Lo! He is Informed, a Seer of His bondmen.

If Allah were to enlarge the provision for His Servants, they would indeed transgress beyond all bounds through the earth; but he sends (it) down in due measure as He pleases. For He is with His Servants Well-acquainted, Watchful.

আল্লাহ যদি তাঁর সকল বান্দাহদের জন্য রিযক পর্যাপ্ত করে দিতেন, তাহলে তারা অবশ্যই যমীনে বিদ্রোহ সৃষ্টি করত; কিন্তু তিনি একটা নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণে যতটুকু ইচ্ছে নাযিল করেন। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাহ্দের সম্পর্কে পূর্ণ ওয়াকিফহাল, তিনি তাদের প্রতি সর্বদা দৃষ্টি রাখেন।

আর আল্লাহ যদি তার বান্দাদের জন্য রিয্ক প্রশস্ত করে দিতেন, তাহলে তারা যমীনে অবশ্যই বিদ্রোহ করত। কিন্তু তিনি নির্দিষ্ট পরিমাণে যা ইচ্ছা নাযিল করেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের ব্যাপারে পূর্ণ অবগত, সম্যক দ্রষ্টা।

আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে জীবনোপকরণের প্রাচুর্য দিলে তারা পৃথিবীতে অবশ্যই বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করত; কিন্তু তিনি তাঁর ইচ্ছা মত সঠিক পরিমানেই দিয়ে থাকেন। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে সম্যক জানেন ও দেখেন।

আর যদি আল্লাহ্ তাঁর বান্দাদের রিযিক প্রশস্ত করে দিতেন, তবে তারা যমীনে অবশ্যই সীমালংঘন করত; কিন্তু তিনি তাঁর ইচ্ছেমত পরিমানেই নাযিল করে থাকেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবহিত ও সর্বদ্ৰষ্টা।

আল্লাহ তাঁর (সকল) বান্দাদের রুযী বাড়িয়ে দিলে তারা পৃথিবীতে অবশ্যই সীমালঙ্ঘন করত; কিন্তু তিনি যে পরিমাণ দেয়ার ইচ্ছা করেন তাই দিয়ে থাকেন। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের সম্পর্কে সম্যক জানেন ও দেখেন।

২৭. আল্লাহ তাঁর সকল বান্দার জীবিকা প্রশস্ত করলে তারা যমীনে অবিচারমূলক উৎপাত চালাবে। তাই তিনি পরিমাণ মত প্রশস্ত কিংবা সংকীর্ণ করে জীবিকা অবতীর্ণ করেন। তিনি স্বীয় বান্দাদের অবস্থা সম্পর্কে অবগত ও তিনি তাদের পরিদর্শক। ফলে তিনি হেকমত সাপেক্ষে প্রদান ও বারণ করেন।
