আশ-শূরা: 39

And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they retaliate [in a just manner].

And those who, when an oppressive wrong is done to them, they take revenge.

and those who, when they are subjected to aggression, defend themselves.

who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress.

And those who, when great wrong is done to them, defend themselves,

And those who, when an oppressive wrong is inflicted on them, (are not cowed but) help and defend themselves.

আর তাদের উপর অতিরিক্ত বাড়াবাড়ি করা হলে নিজেদের প্রতিরক্ষার ব্যবস্থা করে।

আর তাদের উপর অতিরিক্ত বাড়াবাড়ি করা হলে তারা তার প্রতিবিধান করে।

এবং যারা অত্যাচারিত হলে প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণ করে –

আর যারা, যখন তাদের উপর সীমালঙ্গন হয় তখন তারা তার প্ৰতিবিধান করে।

এবং তাদের জন্যও যারা অত্যাচারিত হলে নিজে প্রতিরক্ষার ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করে।

৩৯. আর যারা নির্যাতিত হলে অত্যাচারী ক্ষমাযোগ্য না হওয়া অবস্থায় নিজের নফসের মান সম্মান রক্ষার্থে প্রতিশোধ নেয় যা তার ন্যায্য অধিকার। বিশেষতঃ যখন ক্ষমার মধ্যে কোন সুবিধা না থাকে।
