আশ-শূরা: 31

And you will not cause failure [to Allāh] upon the earth. And you have not besides Allāh any protector or helper.

And you cannot escape from Allah (i.e. His Punishment) in the earth, and besides Allah you have neither any Wali (guardian or a protector) nor any helper.

You are not able to frustrate (Him) in the earth. And, besides Allah, you have neither someone to protect, nor someone to help.

You cannot frustrate Him in the earth; you have no protector nor helper against Allah.

Ye cannot escape in the earth, for beside Allah ye have no protecting friend nor any helper.

Nor can ye frustrate (aught), (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye, besides Allah, any one to protect or to help.

তোমরা যমীনে (আল্লাহর কর্ম ও পরিকল্পনাকে) ভন্ডুল (অক্ষম) করতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ ছাড়া তোমাদের না আছে কোন অভিভাবক, আর না আছে সাহায্যকারী।

তোমরা যমীনে (আল্লাহর কর্ম পরিকল্পনাকে) ব্যর্থ করতে পারবে না। আর আল্লাহ ছাড়া তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক নেই এবং কোন সাহায্যকারীও নেই।

তোমরা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহর অভিপ্রায়কে ব্যর্থ করতে পারবেনা এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক নেই, সাহায্যকারীও নেই।

আর তোমরা যমীনে (আল্লাহকে) অপারগকারী নও এবং আল্লাহ ছাড়া তোমাদের কোনো অভিভাবক নেই, কোনো সাহায্যকারীও নেই।

তোমরা পৃথিবীতে (আল্লাহকে) ব্যর্থ করতে পারবে না এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক নেই।

৩১. আল্লাহ যখন তোমাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে চান তখন তোমরা পালিয়ে গিয়ে তা থেকে নিজেদেরকে রক্ষা করার ক্ষমতা রাখো না। আর না তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক রয়েছে যে তোমাদের দায়িত্বভার গ্রহণ করবে। আর না এমন কোন সাহায্যকারী রয়েছে যে তোমাদের থেকে শাস্তি সরাতে সক্ষম। যদি তিনি তোমাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে চান।
