আর-রূম: 57

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allāh].

So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allah, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allah's Pleasure (by having Islamic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).

So, on that Day, their apology will not benefit the wrongdoers, nor will they be asked to repent.

So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends.

In that day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends.

So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance).

অন্যায়কারীদের ওযর আপত্তি সেদিন কোন কাজে আসবে না এবং তাদেরকে সংশোধনেরও সুযোগ দেয়া হবে না।

অতঃপর যারা যুলম করেছে, সেদিন তাদের কোন ওযর-আপত্তি উপকারে আসবে না এবং (আল্লাহকে) সন্তুষ্ট করতেও তাদেরকে বলা হবে না।

সেদিন সীমা লংঘনকারীর ওযর আপত্তি তাদের কাজে আসবেনা এবং তাদেরকে (আল্লাহর) সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগও দেয়া হবেনা।

সুতরাং যারা যুলুম করেছে সেদিন তাদের ওযর-আপত্তি তাদের কোনো কাজে আসবে না এবং তাদেরকে তিরস্কৃত হওয়ার (মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের) সুযোগও দেয়া হবে না।

সেদিন জালিমদের ওজর-আপত্তি তাদের কোন উপকারে আসবে না এবং তাওবা করে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি লাভের সুযোগও তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে না।

৫৭. যেদিন আল্লাহ সৃষ্টিকুলকে হিসাবের উদ্দেশ্যে পুনরুত্থিত করবেন সেদিন জালিমদের এসব মনগড়া ওযর কোন কাজে আসবে না। আর না তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে আল্লাহকে রাযী-খুশি করা ও তাঁর প্রতি অনুনয়-বিনয় করতে বলা হবে। কেননা, তখন সময় দানের অবকাশ শেষ হয়ে যাবে।
