And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure].

And it is not your wealth, nor your children that bring you nearer to Us (i.e. pleases Allah), but only he (will please Us) who believes (in the Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds; as for such, there will be twofold reward for what they did, and they will reside in the high dwellings (Paradise) in peace and security.

Your riches or your children are not the things that bring you near Us closely; however, the one who believes and acts righteously (is close to Us). Therefore, such people will have the double reward for what they did, and they will be at peace in the upper chambers (of Paradise).

It is not your riches nor your children that make you near-stationed to Us, except for him who has faith and acts righteously; it is they who will receive double the recompense for their deeds. They shall live in lofty mansions in perfect peace.

And it is not your wealth nor your children that will bring you near unto Us, but he who believeth and doeth good (he draweth near). As for such, theirs will be twofold reward for what they did and they will dwell secure in lofty halls.

It is not your wealth nor your sons, that will bring you nearer to Us in degree: but only those who believe and work righteousness - these are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they (reside) in the dwellings on high!

ওটা না তোমাদের মাল-ধন, আর না তোমাদের সন্তান-সন্ততি যা তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করবে। তবে যে কেউ ঈমান আনে আর সৎকাজ করে তাদেরই জন্য আছে বহুগুণ প্রতিদান তাদের কাজের জন্য। তারা সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।

আর তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি এমন বস্তু নয় যা তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করে দেবে। তবে যারা ঈমান আনে ও নেক আমল করে, তারাই তাদের আমলের বিনিময়ে পাবে বহুগুণ প্রতিদান। আর তারা (জান্নাতের) সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।

তোমাদের ধন সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি এমন কিছু নয় যা তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করে দিবে; যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎ কাজ করে তারাই তাদের কর্মের জন্য পাবে বহুগুণ পুরস্কার; আর তারা প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।

আর তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি এমন কিছু নয় যা তোমাদেরকে মর্যাদায় আমাদের নিকটবর্তী করে দেবে; তবে যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকাজ করে, তারাই তাদের কাজের জন্য পাবে বহুগুণ প্রতিদান; আর তারা সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদে নিরাপদে থাকবে।

তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি এমন কিছু নয় যা তোমাদেরকে আমার নিকটবর্তী করে দিবে; তবে যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎ কর্ম করে তারাই তাদের কর্মের জন্য পাবে বহুগুণ পুরস্কার; আর তারা প্রাসাদসমূহে নিরাপদে থাকবে।

৩৭. আর তোমরা যে ধন-সম্পত্তি ও সন্তান-সন্ততি নিয়ে গৌরব করছ তা তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর সন্তুষ্টি পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাবে না। বরং যে আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান এনেছে এবং নেক আমল করেছে কেবল সেই বহুগুণে বর্দ্ধিত প্রতিদান লাভে ধন্য হয়েছে। হ্যাঁ, আল্লাহর পথে সম্পদ ব্যয় আর সন্তানদের দো‘আতাকে নৈকট্য লাভ করিয়ে দেয়। এসব পুণ্যবান মুমিনদের জন্য তাদের আমলের বিনিময়ে বর্দ্ধিত প্রতিদান রয়েছে। তারা শাস্তির ভয় ও পুরস্কার বিচ্ছিন্ন হওয়ার আশঙ্কামুক্ত অবস্থায় জান্নাতের উচ্চাসনে নিরাপদে থাকবে।
