And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired [i.e., made known] in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars, for beauty] and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

Then He completed and finished from their creation (as) seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) to be an adornment as well as to guard (from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils). Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.

So He accomplished them as seven skies in two days, and settled in every sky its (due) thing. And We have decorated the closest sky with lamps, and protected it properly. All this is the determination of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

Then He made them seven heavens in two days and revealed to each heaven its law. And We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and firmly secured it. All this is the firm plan of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.

Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days and inspired in each heaven its mandate; and We decked the nether heaven with lamps, and rendered it inviolable. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower.

So He completed them as seven firmaments in two Days, and He assigned to each heaven its duty and command. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (provided it) with guard. Such is the Decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, Full of Knowledge.

অতঃপর তিনি আকাশমন্ডলীকে সাত আকাশে বিন্যস্ত করলেন দু’দিনে আর প্রত্যেক আকাশকে তার বিধি-ব্যবস্থা ওয়াহীর মাধ্যমে প্রদান করলেন। আমি আলোকমালার সাহায্যে দুনিয়ার আকাশের শোভাবর্ধন করলাম আর সুরক্ষার (ও ব্যবস্থা করলাম)। এ হল মহা পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর সুনির্ধারিত (ব্যবস্থাপনা)।

তারপর তিনি দু’দিনে আসমানসমূহকে সাত আসমানে পরিণত করলেন। আর প্রত্যেক আসমানে তার কার্যাবলী ওহীর মাধ্যমে জানিয়ে দিলেন। আর আমি নিকটবর্তী আসমানকে প্রদীপমালার দ্বারা সুসজ্জিত করেছি আর সুরক্ষিত করেছি। এ হল মহা পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞের নির্ধারণ।

অতঃপর তিনি আকাশমন্ডলীকে দুই দিনে সপ্তাকাশে পরিণত করলেন এবং প্রত্যেক আকাশে উহার বিধান ব্যক্ত করলেন এবং আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে সুশোভিত করলাম প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা এবং করলাম সুরক্ষিত। এটা পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর ব্যবস্থাপনা।

অতঃপর তিনি সেগুলোকে সাত আসমানে পরিণত করলেন দু’দিনে এবং প্রত্যেক আসমানে তার নির্দেশ ওহী করে পাঠালেন এবং আমরা নিকটবর্তী আসমানকে সুশোভিত করলাম প্ৰদীপমালা দ্বারা এবং করলাম সুরক্ষিত। এটা পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞের ব্যবস্থাপনা।

অতঃপর তিনি তাকে দুই দিনে সপ্তাকাশে পরিণত করলেন এবং প্রত্যেক আকাশে তার বিধান ব্যক্ত করলেন এবং আমি দুনিয়ার আকাশকে করলাম সুশোভিত ও সুরক্ষিত। এটা পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহর ব্যবস্থাপনা।

১২. অতঃপর আল্লাহ আসমান সমূহের সৃষ্টি বৃহস্পতি ও শুক্র দু’দিনে পূর্ণ করলেন। বস্তুতঃ এর মাধ্যমে আসমান-যমীনের সৃষ্টি ছয় দিনে পূর্ণ হলো। আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক আসমানে তার জন্য নির্ধারিত বিষয় এবং আনুগত্য ও ইবাদাতের ব্যাপারে প্রত্যাদেশ অবতীর্ণ করলেন। আর আমি দুনিয়ার আসমানকে তারকারাজি দ্বারা সৌন্দর্য প্রদান করেছি এবং এর মাধ্যমে আসমানকে শয়তানদের চোরাই পথে শ্রবণের পথ রুদ্ধ করেছি। উল্লেখিত সবগুলো বিষয় সেই পরাক্রমশালীর নির্ধারণ যাঁকে কেউ পরাজিত করতে পারে না। যিনি তদীয় সৃষ্টির ব্যাপারে পরিজ্ঞাত।
