আল-আনকাবুত: 39

And [We destroyed] Qārūn and Pharaoh and Hāmān. And Moses had already come to them with clear evidences, and they were arrogant in the land, but they were not outrunners [of Our punishment].

And (We destroyed also) Qarun (Korah), Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and Haman. And indeed Musa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment).

And (We also destroyed) Qārūn and Pharaoh and Hāmān. Indeed Mūsā came to them with clear signs; so they acted arrogantly on the earth, and were not (able) to escape.

And We destroyed Qarun (Korah) and Pharaoh and Haman. Moses came to them with Clear Signs but they waxed arrogant in the land although they could not have outstripped (Us).

And Korah, Pharaoh and Haman! Moses came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they were boastful in the land. And they were not winners (in the race).

(Remember also) Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman: there came to them Moses with Clear Signs, but they behaved with insolence on the earth; yet they could not overreach (Us).

(স্মরণ কর) কারূন, ফেরাউন ও হামানের কথা। মূসা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছিল, অতঃপর তারা পৃথিবীতে অহংকার করল, কিন্তু তারা (আমাকে পেছনে ফেলে) আগে বেড়ে যেতে পারেনি।

আর কারূন, ফির‘আউন ও হামানকে (আমি ধ্বংস করেছি) এবং অবশ্যই তাদের কাছে মূসা গিয়েছিল প্রমানাদিসহ। অতঃপর তারা যমীনে অহংকার করেছিল; এতদ্সত্ত্বেও তারা (আমার আযাব) এড়াতে পারেনি।

স্মরণ কর কারূন, ফির‘আউন ও হামানকে; মূসা তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছিল; তখন তারা দেশে দম্ভ করত; কিন্তু তারা আমার শাস্তি এড়াতে পারেনি।

আর আমরা ধ্বংস করেছিলাম কারূন, ফিরআউন ও হামানকে। আর অবশ্যই মূসা তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ এসেছিল; অতঃপর তারা যমীনে অহংকার করেছিল; কিন্তু তারা আমার শাস্তি এড়াতে পারেনি।

এবং আমি সংহার করেছিলাম কারূন, ফির‘আউন ও হামানকে। মূসা তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ এসেছিল; তখন তারা দেশে দম্ভ করত; কিন্তু তারা আমার শাস্তি এড়াতে পারেনি।

৩৯. আমি কারূন ও তার ঘরকে ধ্বসিয়ে দিয়ে তাকে ধ্বংস করেছি যখন সে মূসা (আলাইহিস-সালাম) এর সম্প্রদায়ের উপর অত্যাচার করেছে। আর ফিরআউন ও তার মন্ত্রী হামানকে সাগরে ডুবিয়ে মেরেছি। তাদের নিকট মূসা (আলাইহিস-সালাম) এমন সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসমূহ নিয়ে এসেছেন যেগুলো তাঁর সত্যতা প্রমাণ করে। কিন্তু তারা মিশরের জমিনে অহঙ্কার করে তাঁর উপর ঈমান আনেনি। বস্তুতঃ আমাকে ফাঁকি দিয়ে আমার আযাব থেকে বাঁচার তাদের কোন সুযোগ ছিলো না।
