আল-আহযাব: 60

If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is disease and those who spread rumors in al-Madīnah do not cease, We will surely incite you against them; then they will not remain your neighbors therein except for a little,

If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while.

If the hypocrites and those having malady in their hearts and the ones who spread rumors in Madīnah do not stop (their evil deeds), We will certainly stir you up against them, then they shall no longer live in it as your neighbors, but for a little while,

If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you.

If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbours in it but a little while.

Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time:

মুনাফিকরা আর যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে তারা আর শহরে গুজব রটনাকারীরা যদি বিরত না হয়, তবে আমি অবশ্য অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাকে তেজোদীপ্ত করব, অতঃপর তারা তোমার প্রতিবেশী হিসেবে এ শহরে থাকতে পারবে না। তবে অল্পদিনের জন্য থাকবে

যদি মুনাফিকগণ এবং যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে তারা ও শহরে মিথ্যা সংবাদ প্রচারকারীরা বিরত না হয়, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাকে ক্ষমতাবান করে দেব। অতঃপর তারা সেখানে তোমার প্রতিবেশী হয়ে অল্প সময়ই থাকবে,

মুনাফিকরা এবং যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে এবং যারা নগরে গুজব রটনা করে, তারা বিরত না হলে আমি নিশ্চয়ই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাকে প্রবল করব; এরপর এই নগরীতে তোমার প্রতিবেশী রূপে তারা স্বল্প সময়ই থাকবে –

মুনাফিকরা এবং যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি আছে আর যারা নগরে গুজব রটনা করে, তারা বিরত না হলে আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আপনাকে প্ৰবল করব; এরপর এ নগরীতে আপনার প্রতিবেশীরূপে তারা স্বল্প সময়ই থাকবে---

যদি বিরত না হয় মুনাফিকরা ও যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে তারা এবং মদীনায় গুজব রটনাকারীরা, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তোমাকে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রভাবশালী করে দেব ফলে তারা প্রতিবেশীরূপে সামান্য সময় ছাড়া অবস্থান করতে পারবে না।

৬০. যদি মুনাফিকরা কুফরি গোপন রাখা ও ইসলাম প্রকাশ করার মাধ্যমে তাদের মুনাফিকী থেকে বিরত না হয় আর যাদের অন্তর প্রবৃত্তির সাথে সম্পৃক্ত হওয়ার ফলে তাতে পাপ জায়গা করে নিয়েছে আর যারা মুসলমানদের মাঝে বিভেদ সৃষ্টি করার মানসে মদীনায় মিথ্যা সংবাদ নিয়ে আসে তারা ক্ষান্ত না হলে হে রাসূল! আমি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেয়ার জন্যে আপনাকে নির্দেশ প্রদান করবো এবং আমি আপনাকে তাদের উপর জয়ী করবো। বিধায় তারা ফাসাদ সৃষ্টির কারণ স্বরূপ ধ্বংস কিংবা বিতাড়িত হওয়ার ফলে আপনার সাথে খুব অল্প দিন মদীনায় বসবাস করবে।
