আল-আনফাল: 54

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers.

Similar to the behaviour of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before them. They belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) for they were all Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).

Their practice is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They rejected the signs of their Lord. So, We destroyed them for their sins and drowned the people of Pharaoh; and all of them were wrongdoers.

Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them: they rejected the signs of their Lord as false and so We destroyed them for their sins, and caused the people of Pharaoh to drown. For they were wrong-doers all.

(Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they denied the revelations of their Lord, so We destroyed them in their sins. And We drowned the folk of Pharaoh. All were evil-doers.

(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them": They treated as false the Signs of their Lord: so We destroyed them for their crimes, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh: for they were all oppressors and wrong-doers.

ফিরআউনের লোকজন ও তাদের আগের লোকেদের মতই তারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের নিদর্শনগুলোকে মিথ্যা জেনেছিল। কাজেই তাদের পাপের কারণে আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছিলাম আর ফিরআউনের লোকজনকে ডুবিয়ে মেরেছিলাম। এরা সবাই ছিল যালিম।

ফিরআউন বংশ ও তাদের পূর্বের লোকদের আচরণের মত তারা তাদের রবের আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করেছে, ফলে আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি তাদের পাপের কারণে এবং ফিরআউন বংশকে ডুবিয়েছি, আর তারা সকলেই ছিল যালিম।

ফির‘আউনের বংশধর ও তৎপূর্বের জাতিসমূহের ন্যায় তারা তাদের রবের নিদর্শনসমূহ মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। ফলে আমি তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি এবং ফির‘আউনের বংশধরকে (সমুদ্রে) নিমজ্জিত করেছি, তারা প্রত্যেকেই ছিল যুলমকারী।

ফির’আউনের বংশধর ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের অভ্যাসের মত এরা এদের রবের আয়াতসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। ফলে তাদের পাপের জন্য আমরা তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি এবং ফির’আউনের বংশধরকে নিমজ্জিত করেছি। আর তারা সকলেই ছিল যালেম।

ফির‘আউনের লোকজন ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীগণের অভ্যাসের ন্যায় এরা এদের প্রতিপালকের নিদর্শনকে অস্বীকার করেছে। তাদের পাপের জন্য আমি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি এবং ফির‘আওনের স্বজনকে নিমজ্জিত করেছি আর তারা সকলেই ছিল জালিম।

৫৪. এ কাফিরদের অবস্থা অন্যান্য কাফিরদের মতোই। যেমন: ফিরআউনের বংশ ও তাদের পূর্বেকার মিথ্যারোপকারী উম্মতগুলো যারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের আয়াতসমূহের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাদেরকে তাদের কৃত গুনাহের দরুন ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছেন। আল্লাহ তা‘আলা ফিরআউনের বংশকে সাগরে ডুবিয়ে মারলেন। বস্তুতঃ ফিরআউনের বংশ ও তাদের পূর্বেকার জাতিসমূহ আল্লাহর সাথে কুফরি ও শিরক করার দরুন বড় যালিম ছিলো। তারা এর মাধ্যমে তাঁর শাস্তিকে অবধারিত করে নিয়েছে। তাই তিনি তাদেরকে প্রাপ্য শাস্তি প্রদান করেন।
