আল-আনফাল: 65

O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are steadfast], they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.

O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty steadfast persons amongst you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are people who do not understand.

O Prophet, rouse the believers to fighting. If there are twenty among you, who are patient, they will overcome two hundred; and if there are one hundred among you, they will overcome one thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.

O Prophet! Rouse the believers to fighting. If they be twenty of you who persevere they shall vanquish two hundred; and if there be of you a hundred, they shall vanquish a thousand of those who disbelieve, for they are a people who lack understanding.

O Prophet! Exhort the believers to fight. If there be of you twenty steadfast they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a hundred (steadfast) they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they (the disbelievers) are a folk without intelligence.

O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.

হে নাবী! যুদ্ধের ব্যাপারে মু’মিনদেরকে উদ্বুদ্ধ কর। তোমাদের মধ্যে বিশজন ধৈর্যশীল থাকলে তারা দু’শ জনের উপর জয়ী হবে এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে (ঐরূপ) একশ’ জন থাকলে তারা একহাজার কাফিরের উপর বিজয়ী হবে। কেননা তারা হচ্ছে এমন লোক যারা (ন্যায়-অন্যায় সম্পর্কে) কোন বোধ রাখে না।

হে নবী, তুমি মুমিনদেরকে লড়াইয়ে উৎসাহ দাও, যদি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে বিশজন ধৈর্যশীল থাকে, তারা দু’শ জনকে পরাস্ত করবে, আর যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে একশ’ জন থাকে, তারা কাফিরদের এক হাজার জনকে পরাস্ত করবে। কারণ, তারা (কাফিররা) এমন কওম যারা বুঝে না।

হে নাবী! মু’মিনদেরকে জিহাদের জন্য উদ্ধুদ্ধ কর, তোমাদের মধ্যে যদি বিশজন ধৈর্যশীল মুজাহিদ থাকে তাহলে তারা দু’শ জন কাফিরের উপর জয়যুক্ত হবে, আর তোমাদের মধ্যে এক‘শ জন থাকলে তারা এক হাজার কাফিরের উপর বিজয়ী হবে, কারণ তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাদের বোধশক্তি নেই, কিছুই বোঝেনা।

হে নবী! আপনি মুমিনদেরকে যুদ্ধের জন্য উদ্বুদ্ধ করুন; তোমাদের মধ্যে বিশজন ধৈর্যশীল থাকলে তারা দু’শ জনের উপর বিজয়ী হবে এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে এক’শ জন থাকলে এক হাজার কাফিরের উপর বিজয়ী হবে। কারণ, তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাদের বোধশক্তি নেই।

হে নাবী! মু’মিনদেরকে যুদ্ধের জন্য উদ্বুদ্ধ কর‎; তোমাদের মধ্যে বিশজন ধৈর্যশীল (মু’মিন) থাকলে (কাফিরদের) দু’শত জনের ওপর বিজয়ী হবে এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে একশত জন থাকলে এক সহস্র কাফিরের ওপর বিজয়ী হবে। কারণ তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যাদের বোধশক্তি নেই।

৬৫. হে নবী! আপনি মু’মিনদেরকে যুদ্ধের ব্যাপারে উৎসাহিত করুন এবং এমনভাবে তাদেরকে জাগিয়ে তুলুন যা তাদের হিম্মত ও মনোবলকে চঞ্চল ও শক্তিশালী করবে। হে মু’মিনরা! যদি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে কাফিরদের সাথে যুদ্ধের জন্য ধৈর্যশীল বিশজনও থাকে তাহলে তারা দু’শ কাফিরের উপর জয়ী হবে। আর যদি তোমাদের মাঝে ধৈর্যশীল একশ’ থাকে তাহলে তারা এক হাজার কাফিরের উপর জয়ী হবে। তা এ জন্য যে, কাফিররা আল্লাহর বন্ধুদেরকে তাঁর সহযোগিতা প্রদান এবং তাঁর শত্রুদেরকে তাঁর প্রতিহত করার চিরায়ত নিয়ম সম্পর্কে কিছুই জানে না। এমনকি তারা এ যুদ্ধের উদ্দেশ্য সম্পর্কেও কিছুই জানে না। কারণ, তারা কেবল দুনিয়ার কর্তৃত্বের জন্যই যুদ্ধ করে।
