আল-আনফাল: 35

And their prayer at the House [i.e., the Kaʿbah] was not except whistling and handclapping. So taste the punishment for what you disbelieved [i.e., practiced of deviations].

Their Salat (prayer) at the House (of Allah, i.e. the Ka'bah at Makkah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Therefore taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve.

And their prayer near the House was not more than whistling and clapping. So, taste the punishment, because you used to disbelieve.

Their Prayer at the House is nothing but whistling and handclapping. Taste, then, this chastisement for your denying the truth.

And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and hand-clapping. Therefore (it is said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve.

Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."

আল্লাহর ঘরের নিকট তাদের নামায হাত তালি মারা আর শিশ দেয়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই না, (এসব অপরাধে লিপ্ত ব্যক্তিদেরকে বলা হবে) ‘‘আযাব ভোগ কর যেহেতু তোমরা কুফরীতে লিপ্ত ছিলে’’।

আর কা‘বার নিকট তাদের সালাত শিষ ও হাত-তালি ছাড়া কিছু ছিল না। সুতরাং তোমরা আস্বাদন কর আযাব। কারণ তোমরা কুফরী করতে।

কা’বা ঘরের কাছে তাদের সালাত হল শিস দেয়া ও করতালি প্রদান ছাড়া অন্য কিছুই নয়, সুতরাং তোমরা কুফরী করার কারণে এখন শাস্তির স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।

আর কা’বাঘরের কাছে শুধু শিস ও হাততালি দেয়াই তাদের সালাত, কাজেই তোমার শাস্তি ভোগ কর, কারণ তোমরা কুফরী করতে।

কা‘বা ঘরের নিকট শুধু শিস ও হাততালি দেয়াই ছিল তাদের সালাত, সুতরাং কুফরীর জন্য তোমরা শাস্তি ভোগ কর।

৩৫. মসজিদে হারামের নিকট মুশরিকদের সালাত শুধু শিস ধ্বনি ও হাত তালি দেয়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়। হে মুশরিকরা! তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের সাথে কুফরি করার দরুন বদরের দিনে হত্যা ও বন্দী হওয়ার মত শাস্তির স্বাদ আস্বাদন করো।
