আল-কামার: 24

And said, "Is it one human being among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness.

For they said: "A man! Alone from among us, that we are to follow? Truly, then we should be in error and distress or madness!"

So they said, “Shall we follow a single human being from among us? Then we will be in error and insanity.

saying: “Are we to follow a single mortal, one from among ourselves? If we do that, we shall surely be in error and folly.

For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness.

For they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad!

তারা বলেছিল, ‘আমরা কি আমাদেরই মধ্যেকার মাত্র একটা লোকের অনুসরণ করব? তাহলে তো আমরা গুমরাহী আর পাগলামিতে পড়ে যাব।

অতঃপর তারা বলেছিল, ‘আমরা কি আমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে এক ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করব? তাহলে নিশ্চয় আমরা পথভ্রষ্টতা ও উম্মত্ততার মধ্যে পড়ব’।

তারা বলেছিলঃ আমরা কি আমাদেরই সম্প্রদায়ের এক ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করব? তাহলে তো আমরা বিপথগামী এবং উন্মাদরূপে গন্য হব।

অতঃপর তারা বলেছিল, ‘আমরা কি আমাদেরই এক ব্যাক্তির অনুসরণ করব? তবে তো আমরা পথভ্রষ্টতায় এবং উন্মাত্ততায় পতিত হব।

তারা বলেছিল : ‎ আমরা কি আমাদেরই এক ব্যক্তির অনুসরণ করব? তবে তো আমরা বিপথগামী এবং বিবেকহীনরূপে গণ্য হব।

২৪. তাই তারা অনিহা প্রকাশপূর্বক বলে: আমরা কি নিজেদের প্রকৃতির একজনকে অনুসরণ করবো?! এমনটি করলে তো আমরা সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে যাবো এবং চরম ভোগান্তিতে পড়ে যাবো।
