গাফির: 29

O my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allāh if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct."

"O my people! Yours is the kingdom this day, you are uppermost in the land. But who will save us from the Torment of Allah, should it befall us?" Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!"

O my people, the kingdom is yours today, while you are dominant on the land. But, who is going to help us against Allah’s punishment, if it comes upon us?” Pharaoh said, “I do not give you an opinion unless I myself believe it to be correct, and I do not direct you to anything but to the right way.”

My people, today the kingdom is yours, and you are supreme in the land. But if Allah's chastisement were to come upon you, who will come to our help?” Pharaoh said: “I only counsel what I consider right; I only direct you to the Path of Rectitude.”

O my people! Yours is the kingdom to-day, ye being uppermost in the land. But who would save us from the wrath of Allah should it reach us? Pharaoh said: I do but show you what I think, and I do but guide you to wise policy.

"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!"

হে আমার জাতির লোকেরা! আজ তোমাদেরই কর্তৃত্ব চলছে, দেশে আজ তোমরাই বিজয়ী শক্তি। কিন্তু আল্লাহর শাস্তি যদি এসেই পড়ে, তাহলে তাত্থেকে আমাদেরকে কে রক্ষে করবে? ফেরাউন বলল- আমি তোমাদেরকে শুধু তা-ই বলছি, আমি নিজে যা বুঝেছি; আমি তোমাদেরকে সত্যপথই দেখাচ্ছি।

‘হে আমার কওম, আজ তোমাদের রাজত্ব; যমীনে তোমরাই কর্তৃত্বশীল; কিন্তু আল্লাহর আযাব আসলে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে’? ফির‘আউন বলল, ‘যা আমি সঠিক মনে করি তা-ই আমি তোমাদেরকে দেখাই আর আমি তোমাদেরকে কেবল সঠিক পথই দেখাই’।

হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আজ কর্তৃত্ব তোমাদের, দেশে তোমরাই প্রবল; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে পড়লে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? ফির‘আউন বললঃ আমি যা বুঝি, আমি তোমাদের তাই বলছি। আমি তোমাদেরকে শুধু সৎ পথই দেখিয়ে থাকি।

'হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আজ তোমাদেরই রাজত্ব, যমীনে তোমরাই প্রভাবশালী; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে পড়লে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে?' ফিরআউন বলল, 'আমি যা সঠিক মনে করি, তা তোমাদেরকে দেখাই। আর আমি তোমাদেরকে শুধু সঠিক পথই দেখিয়ে থাকি।'

হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! আজ কর্তৃত্ব তোমাদের, দেশে তোমরাই প্রবল; কিন্তু আমাদের ওপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে পড়লে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? ফির‘আউন বললো : আমি যা বুঝি, আমি তোমাদেরকে তা-ই বলছি। আমি তোমাদেরকে শুধু সৎ পথই দেখিয়ে থাকি।

২৯. হে আমার জাতি! আজ বিজয়সহ মিশরের রাজত্ব তোমাদের হাতে। তবে মূসাকে হত্যার ফলে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে শাস্তি নেমে আসলে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে?! ফিরআউন বললো, অভিমত এবং ফায়সালা চলবে আমার। আমি ভেবে দেখেছি যে, অনিষ্ট ও ফাসাদ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার জন্য মূসাকে হত্যা করা অত্যাবশ্যক। আর আমি সঠিক ও বিশুদ্ধ ব্যতীত অন্য কোন পথ দেখাই না।
