গাফির: 43

Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allāh, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire.

"No doubt you call me to (worship) one who cannot grant (me) my request (or respond to my invocation) in this world or in the Hereafter. And our return will be to Allah, and Al-Musrifun (i.e. polytheists and arrogants, those who commit great sins, the transgressors of Allah's set limits)! They shall be the dwellers of the Fire!

It is obvious that those (gods) to whom you are inviting me are not worth calling, neither in this world nor in the world to come, and that we have to return back to Allah, and that the transgressors are indeed the people of the Fire.

There is no doubt that those whom you call me to have no claim to be called upon in this world and in the Hereafter. Certainly to Allah shall be our return, and those who exceed the limits are destined to the Fire.

Assuredly that whereunto ye call me hath no claim in the world or in the Hereafter, and our return will be unto Allah, and the prodigals will be owners of the Fire.

"Without doubt ye do call me to one who is not fit to be called to, whether in this world, or in the Hereafter; our return will be to Allah; and the Transgressors will be Companions of the Fire!

কোন সন্দেহ নেই তোমরা আমাকে ডাকছ শুধু তার দিকে যে আহবান পাওয়ার যোগ্য নয়- না দুনিয়াতে, না আখিরাতে। আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন তো হল আল্লাহর দিকে আর সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীরা হল জাহান্নামের বাসিন্দা।

‘এ ব্যাপারে কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, যার দিকে তোমরা আমাকে ডাকছ, সে দুনিয়া বা আখিরাতে কারো ডাকের যোগ্য নয়। আর আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে আল্লাহর দিকে এবং নিশ্চয় সীমালংঘনকারীরা হবে আগুনের সাথী’।

নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা আমাকে আহবান করছো এমন এক জনের দিকে যে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে কোথাও আহবানযোগ্য নয়। বস্তুতঃ আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তনতো আল্লাহর নিকট এবং সীমালংঘনকারীরাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী।

নিঃসন্দেহ যে, তোমরা আমাকে যার দিকে ডাকছ, সে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে কোথাও ডাকের যোগ্য নয়। আর আমাদের ফিরে যাওয়া তো আল্লাহর দিকে এবং নিশ্চয় সীমালংঘনকারীরা আগুনের অধিবাসী।

নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা আমাকে ডাকছ এমন একজনের দিকে যে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে কোথাও আহ্বানযোগ্য নয়। বস্তুত আমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন তো আল্লাহর নিকট এবং সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীরাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী।

৪৩. সত্যিই তোমরা আমাকে যার উপর ঈমান আনতে ও তার আনুগত্য করতে আহ্বান করছো সে ইহ ও পরকালে সত্যিকারার্থে কোন আহ্বানের উপযুক্ত নয়। এমনকি সে তার নিকট দু‘আকারীর ডাকে সাড়া দিতেও পারে না। বস্তুতঃ আমাদের প্রত্যেকের প্রত্যাবর্তন স্থল হচ্ছেন এক আল্লাহ। আর কুফরী ও পাপাচারে লিপ্তরাই হচ্ছে জাহান্নামবাসী। যারা কিয়ামত দিবসে তাতে নিশ্চিত প্রবেশ করবেই।
