গাফির: 50

They will say, "Did there not come to you your messengers with clear proofs?" They will say, "Yes." They will reply, "Then supplicate [yourselves], but the supplication of the disbelievers is not except in error [i.e., futility]."

They will say: "Did there not come to you, your Messengers with (clear) evidences and signs? They will say: "Yes." They will reply: "Then call (as you like)! And the invocation of the disbelievers is nothing but in error!"

They will say, “Had your messengers not been coming to you with open signs?” They will say, “Of course, (they had come).” They (the keepers) will say, “Then, keep praying” - but praying of disbelievers (in the Hereafter) is only in vain.

The keepers of Hell will ask: “Did your Messengers not come to you with Clear Signs?” They will say: “Yes (they did).” The keepers of Hell will say: “Then you yourselves should call (upon the Lord). And the call of the unbelievers will end in vain.”

They say: Came not your messengers unto you with clear proofs? They say: Yea, verily. They say: Then do ye pray, although the prayer of disbelievers is in vain.

They will say: "Did there not come to you your messengers with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error!"

রক্ষীগণ বলবে- রসূলগণ কি স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসেনি? তারা (উত্তরে) বলবে, হাঁ (এসেছিল)। জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা বলবে- তাহলে তোমরাই দু‘আ কর, কাফিরদের দু‘আ নিষ্ফলই হয়।

তারা বলবে, ‘তোমাদের কাছে কি সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ তোমাদের রাসূলগণ আসেনি’? জাহান্নামীরা বলবে, ‘হ্যাঁ অবশ্যই’। দারোয়ানরা বলবে, ‘তবে তোমরাই দো‘আ কর। আর কাফিরদের দো‘আ কেবল নিষ্ফলই হয়’।

তারা বলবেঃ তোমাদের নিকট কি স্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ তোমাদের রাসূলগণ আসেননি? জাহান্নামীরা বলবেঃ অবশ্যই এসেছিল। প্রহরীরা বলবেঃ তাহলে তোমরাই প্রার্থনা কর, আর কাফিরদের প্রার্থনা ব্যর্থই হয়।

তারা বলবে, 'তোমাদের কাছে কি স্পষ্ট প্রমাণাদিসহ তোমাদের রাসূলগণ আসেননি?' জাহান্নামীরা বলবে, 'হ্যাঁ, অবশ্যই।' প্রহরীরা বলবে, 'সুতরাং তোমরাই ডাক; আর কাফিরদের ডাক শুধু ব্যর্থই হয়।'

তারা বলবে : তোমাদের নিকট কি নিদর্শনাবলীসহ তোমাদের রাসূলগণ আসেনি? জাহান্নামীরা বলবে : অবশ্যই এসেছিল। প্রহরীরা বলবে : তবে তোমরাই প্রার্থনা কর, আর কাফেরদের প্রার্থনা ব্যর্থই হয়।

৫০. জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা কাফিরদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের নিকট কি রাসূলগণ সুস্পষ্ট দলীল প্রমাণাদি নিয়ে আগমন করন নি?! কাফিররা বলবে: হ্যাঁ, তাঁরা এসেছিলেন। তখন রক্ষীরা ব্যঙ্গ করে বলবে, তবে তোমরা নিজেরাই ডাকতে থাকো। আমরা কাফিরদের জন্য কোন সুপারিশ করবো না। বস্তুতঃ কাফিরদের দু‘আ বতিল ও বৃথা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়। কেননা, তাদের কুফরীর ফলে তাদের থেকে তা গ্রহণ করা হবে না।
