গাফির: 39

O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement.

"O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever."

O my people, this life of the world is only a (momentary) benefit, while the Hereafter is, indeed, the place of permanent living.

My people, the life of this world is ephemeral, whereas the Hereafter, that is the permanent abode.

O my people! Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home.

"O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last.

হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! পার্থিব এ জীবন (অস্থায়ী) ভোগ্য বস্তু মাত্র, আর আখিরাতই হল চিরকালীন আবাসস্থল।

‘হে আমার কওম, এ দুনিয়ার জীবন কেবল ক্ষণকালের ভোগ; আর নিশ্চয় আখিরাতই হল স্থায়ী আবাস’।

হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! এ পার্থিব জীবনতো অস্থায়ী উপভোগের বস্তু এবং আখিরাতই হচ্ছে চিরস্থায়ী আবাস।

‘হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! এ দুনিয়ার জীবন কেবল অস্থায়ী ভোগের বস্তু, আর নিশ্চয় আখিরাত, তা হচ্ছে স্থায়ী আবাস।

হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! এ পার্থিব জীবন তো (অস্থায়ী) উপভোগের এবং আখিরাতই হচ্ছে চিরস্থায়ী আবাস।

৩৯. হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! এ দুনিয়ার জীবন হলো কিছু দিনের উপভোগ মাত্র। তাই সে যেন তার মধ্যকার ক্ষণস্থায়ী ভোগ্যসামগ্রী দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে ধোঁকা না দেয়। পক্ষান্তরে পরকালীন জীবন অবারিত ভোগ্যসামগ্রীসহ সেটি প্রশান্তি ও স্থায়ী আবাসন। তাই তোমরা সে জন্য আল্লাহর আনুগত্যের মাধ্যমে প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করো। আর পরকালের কথা বাদ দিয়ে দুনিয়ার জীবন নিয়ে ব্যস্ত হওয়া থেকে সতর্ক থাকো।
