আত-তাওবা: 44

Those who believe in Allāh and the Last Day would not ask permission of you to be excused from striving [i.e., fighting] with their wealth and their lives. And Allāh is Knowing of those who fear Him.

Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day would not ask your leave to be exempted from fighting with their properties and their lives, and Allah is the All-Knower of Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).

Those who believe in Allah and in the Last Day do not ask you to excuse them from Jihād with their wealth and lives. Allah is aware of the God-fearing.

[9:44] Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day will never ask your leave to be excused from striving (in the cause of Allah) with their belongings and their lives. Allah fully knows the God-fearing.

Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask no leave of thee lest they should strive with their wealth and their lives. Allah is Aware of those who keep their duty (unto Him).

Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask thee for no exemption from fighting with their goods and persons. And Allah knoweth well those who do their duty.

যারা আল্লাহয় ও শেষ দিনে বিশ্বাস করে তারা তাদের মাল দিয়ে আর জান দিয়ে জিহাদ করা থেকে অব্যাহতি পাওয়ার জন্য তোমার কাছে অনুমতি প্রার্থনা করে না। মুত্তাকীদের সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ খুবই অবগত আছেন।

যারা আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে, তারা তোমার কাছে তাদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে জিহাদ করা থেকে বিরত থাকার অনুমতি চায় না, আর আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীদের সম্পর্কে পূর্ণ জ্ঞাত।

যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও পরকালের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে তারা নিজেদের ধন-সম্পদ ও প্রাণ দ্বারা জিহাদ করার ব্যাপারে তোমার কাছে অব্যাহতি প্রার্থনা করবেনা, আর আল্লাহ এই পরহেজগার লোকদের সম্বন্ধে খুবই অবগত আছেন।

যারা আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিনের প্রতি ঈমান রাখে তারা নিজ সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা জিহাদে যেতে আপনার কাছে অব্যাহতি প্রার্থনা করে না। আর আল্লাহ্‌ মুত্তাকীদের সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষ অবগত।

যারা আল্লাহ ও শেষ দিবসের প্রতি ঈমান আনে তারা নিজ সম্পদ ও জীবন দ্বারা জিহাদ থেকে অব্যাহতি পাবার প্রার্থনা তোমার নিকট করে না। আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীদের সম্বন্ধে সবিশেষ অবহিত।

৪৪. হে রাসূল! যারা আল্লাহ তা‘আলা ও কিয়ামত দিবসে সত্যিকারের বিশ্বাসী তাদের উচিৎ নয় যে, তারা নিজেদের জান-মাল নিয়ে আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করা থেকে পিছিয়ে থাকার জন্য আপনার অনুমতি কামনা করবে। বরং তাদের উচিৎ হবে তাদেরকে যুদ্ধের জন্য বের হতে বলা হলে তারা যুদ্ধের জন্য বের হবে এবং নিজেদের জান-মাল নিয়ে তারা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাঁর এমন মুত্তাকী বান্দাদের সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই জানেন যারা কখনোই এমন ওজর ছাড়া আপনার অনুমতি চাইবে না, যা তাদেরকে যুদ্ধে যাওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে সত্যিই প্রতিবন্ধকতা সৃষ্টি করে।
