আয-যুমার: 50
আরবি
قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
English Translations
Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn.
Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.
The same was said by those before them, but what they used to earn was of no avail to them,
Their predecessors also said the same, but their earnings proved of no avail to them,
Those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not;
Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they did was of no profit to them.
বাংলা অনুবাদ
তাদের আগে যারা ছিল তারাও এ কথাই বলত। কিন্তু তারা যা করত তা তাদের কোনই কাজে আসেনি।
অবশ্যই তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এটা বলেছিল। কিন্তু তারা যা অর্জন করেছে তা তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি।
তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও এটাই বলত, কিন্তু তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি।
অবশ্যই তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এটা বলত, কিন্তু তারা যা অর্জন করেছে তা তাদের কোনো কাজে আসেনি।
তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও এটাই বলত : কিন্তু তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের কোন কাজে আসেনি।
৫০. এ ধরনের কথা পূর্বের কাফিররাও বলেছে। কিন্তু তাদের উপার্জিত সম্পদ ও অবস্থান তাদের কোন উপকারে আসে নি।
