আত-তূর: 38

Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority [i.e., proof].

Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof.

Or have they a stairway (to the heavens) by means of which they listen (to the divine decrees)? If so, their listener must bring a clear proof.

Or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the Higher Realm)? Then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it.

Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest!

Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof.

নাকি তাদের কাছে, সিঁড়ি আছে যাতে তারা (আকাশে উঠে যায় আর গোপন কথা) শুনে থাকে? থাকলে তাদের (সেই) শ্রোতা স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ হাজির করুক।

নাকি তাদের আছে সিঁড়ি, যাতে চড়ে তারা (ঊর্ধ্বলোকের কথা) শুনতে পায়; তাদের শ্রোতা স্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসুক না?

না কি তাদের কোন সিড়ি আছে যাতে আরোহণ করে তারা শ্রবণ করে? থাকলে তাদের সেই শ্রোতা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করুক।

নাকি তাদের কোনো সিঁড়ি আছে যাতে আরোহন করে তারা শুনে থাকে? থাকলে তাদের সে শ্রোতা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসুক !

না কি তাদের কোন সিঁড়ি আছে যাতে আরোহণ করে তারা শ্রবণ করে? তবে তাদের সেই শ্রোতা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করুক!

৩৮. না কি তাদের এমন কোন সিঁড়ি রয়েছে যাতে আরোহন করে তারা আল্লাহর এমন ওহী শ্রবণ করে যে, তারা হকের উপর রয়েছে?! অতএব, যে এ জাতীয় ওহী শ্রবণ করেছে সে যেন এমন সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ নিয়ে আসে যদ্বারা তাদের হকের উপর প্রতিষ্ঠিত থাকার কথা সাব্যস্ত হয়।
