আত-তূর: 47

And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know.

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 36].

And for those who did wrong there is another punishment before that, but most of them do not know.

Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know.

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not.

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not.

যালিমদের জন্য এছাড়া আরো ‘আযাব রয়েছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।

আর নিশ্চয় যারা যুলম করবে তাদের জন্য থাকবে এছাড়া আরো আযাব; কিন্তু তাদের বেশীরভাগই জানে না।

এ ছাড়াও আরও শাস্তি রয়েছে যালিমদের জন্য। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানেনা।

আর নিশ্চয় যারা যুলুম করেছে তাদের জন্য রয়েছে এছাড়া আরো শাস্তি। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না

নিশ্চয়ই জালিমদের জন্য এ ছাড়া আরো শাস্তি রয়েছে; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই তা জানে না।

৪৭. যারা শিরক ও কুফরীর মাধ্যমে নিজেদের নফসের উপর অবিচার করেছে তাদের জন্য পরকালের পূর্বে দুনিয়াতেই হত্যা ও বন্দি হওয়ার মাধ্যমে শাস্তি রয়েছে। আর বারযাখে রয়েছে কবরের শাস্তি। তবে বেশীর ভাগ মানুষই তা জানে না। ফলে তারা নিজেদের কুফরীর উপর অটল থাকে।
