ইউনুস: 106

And do not invoke besides Allāh that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers.'"

"And invoke not besides Allah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."

And do not invoke, other than Allah, what neither benefits you nor harms you, for, if you do so, then you will surely be one of the unjust.

Do not call upon any apart from Allah on those who have no power to benefit or hurt you. For if you call upon others than Allah you will be reckoned among the wrong-doers.

And cry not, beside Allah, unto that which cannot profit thee nor hurt thee, for if thou didst so then wert thou of the wrong-doers.

"'Nor call on any, other than Allah;- Such will neither profit thee nor hurt thee: if thou dost, behold! thou shalt certainly be of those who do wrong.'"

আর আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে আহবান করো না এমন কিছুকে যা না পারে তোমার কোন উপকার করতে, আর না পারে ক্ষতি করতে; যদি তুমি তা কর তাহলে তুমি যালিমদের মধ্যে শামিল হয়ে যাবে।

‘আর আল্লাহ ছাড়া এমন কিছুকে ডেকো না, যা তোমার উপকার করতে পারে না এবং তোমার ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না। অতএব তুমি যদি কর, তাহলে নিশ্চয় তুমি যালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।

আর আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে এমন কিছুর ইবাদাত করনা যা না তোমার কোন উপকার করতে পারে, আর না কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারে। বস্তুতঃ যদি এরূপ কর তাহলে তুমি এমতাবস্থায় যালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যাবে।

‘আর আপনি আল্লাহ্‌ ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে ডাকবেন না, যা আপনার উপকারও করে না, অপকারও করে না, কারণ এটা করলে তখন আপনি অবশ্যই যালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন।’

এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত অন্য কাউকেও ডেকো না, যারা তোমার কোন উপকার করে না, অপকারও করতে পারবে না, যদি তুমি এরূপ কর তাহলে অবশ্যই জালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবে।’

১০৬. হে রাসূল! আপনি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন কোন মূর্তি, আকৃতি ইত্যাদিকে ডাকবেন না যে লাভ ও ক্ষতি কোন কিছুরই মালিক নয়। যাতে আপনার কোন লাভ ও ক্ষতি করতে পারে। আপনি যদি সেগুলোর ইবাদাত করেন তাহলে আপনি যালিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন। যারা আল্লাহ ও তাদের নিজেদের অধিকারের উপর অত্যাচার চালিয়েছে।
