ইউনুস: 81

And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allāh will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allāh does not amend the work of corrupters.

Then when they had cast down, Musa (Moses) said: "What you have brought is sorcery, Allah will surely make it of no effect. Verily, Allah does not set right the work of Al-Mufsidun (the evil-doers, corrupts, etc.).

So, when they had cast, Mūsā said, “All that you have brought is magic. Allah will certainly bring it to naught. Be assured that Allah does not set right the work of the mischief-makers.”

Then when they had cast (their staffs), Moses said: 'What you have produced is sheer sorcery. Allah will certainly reduce it to naught. Surely Allah does not set right the work of the mischief-makers.

And when they had cast, Moses said: That which ye have brought is magic. Lo! Allah will make it vain. Lo! Allah upholdeth not the work of mischief-makers.

When they had had their throw, Moses said: "What ye have brought is sorcery: Allah will surely make it of no effect: for Allah prospereth not the work of those who make mischief.

তারা যখন নিক্ষেপ করল, তখন মূসা বলল, ‘‘তোমরা যা নিয়ে এসেছ তাতো যাদু, আল্লাহ এখনই তা ব্যর্থ করে দেবেন, আল্লাহ বিশৃঙ্খলাকারীদের কাজকে সংশোধন করেন না’’।

অতঃপর যখন তারা (তাদের রশি ও লাঠি) ফেলল, তখন মূসা বলল, ‘তোমরা যা আনলে, তা যাদু। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা বাতিল করে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ফাসাদকারীদের আমল পরিশুদ্ধ করেন না’।

অতঃপর যখন তারা নিক্ষেপ করল তখন মূসা বললঃ যাদু এটাই, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ এখনই এটাকে বানচাল করে দিবেন; (কেননা) আল্লাহ অশান্তি সৃষ্টিকারীদের কাজ সার্থক করেন না।

অতঃপর যখন তারা নিক্ষেপ করল, তখন মূসা বললেন, ‘তোমরা যা এনেছ তা জাদু, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্‌ সেগুলোকে অসার করে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্‌ অশান্তি সৃষ্টিকারীদের কাজ সার্থক করেন না।’

অতঃপর যখন তারা নিক্ষেপ করল তখন মূসা বলল: ‘তোমরা যা এনেছ তা জাদু, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ অচিরেই তা অসার করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই অশান্তি সৃষ্টিকারীদের কর্ম সার্থক করেন না।’

৮১. যখন তারা নিজেদের কাছে থাকা যাদুর সবকিছু দেখানো শুরু করলো তখন মূসা (আলাইহিস-সালাম) তাদেরকে বললেন: তোমরা যা দেখাচ্ছো তা মূলতঃ যাদু। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা‘আলা অচিরেই তোমাদের কর্মকাণ্ডকে বাতিল ও ক্রিয়াহীন করে দিবেন। তোমরা নিজেদের যাদুর মাধ্যমে জমিনে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারী। আর আল্লাহ তা‘আলা ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের আমলকে বিশুদ্ধ করেন না।
