ইউনুস: 100

And it is not for a soul [i.e., anyone] to believe except by permission of Allāh, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason.

It is not for any person to believe, except by the Leave of Allah, and He will put the wrath on those who are heedless.

It is not (possible) for any one that he believes except with the will of Allah. And He makes filth settle on those who do not understand.

No one can believe except by Allah's leave, and Allah lays abomination on those who do not use their understanding. and conduct.

It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah. He hath set uncleanness upon those who have no sense.

No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand.

আল্লাহর অনুমতি ব্যতিরেকে কেউ ঈমান আনতে পারবে না, আর যারা বিবেক বুদ্ধি খাটায় না, আল্লাহ তাদের উপর গুমরাহী চাপিয়ে দেন।

আর কারও পক্ষে সম্ভব নয় যে, আললাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া ঈমান আনবে এবং যারা বুঝে না তিনি আযাব চাপিয়ে দেবেন তাদের উপর।

অথচ আল্লাহর হুকুম ছাড়া কারও ঈমান আনা সম্ভব নয়; আর আল্লাহ নির্বোধ লোকদের উপর (কুফরীর) অপবিত্রতা স্থাপন করে দেন।

আর আল্লাহ্‌র অনুমতি ছাড়া ঈমান আনা কারো সাধ্য নয় এবং যারা বোঝে না আল্লাহ্‌ তাদেরকেই কলুষলিপ্ত করেন।

আল্লাহর অনুমতি ব্যতীত ঈমান আনা কারও সাধ্য নয় এবং যারা অনুধাবন করে না আল্লাহ তাদেরকে কলুষে লিপ্ত করেন।

১০০. আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া কেউ নিজে নিজেই ঈমান আনতে পারে না। তাই আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা ছাড়া কোন ঈমানই বাস্তবায়িত হয় না। ফলে আপনি যেন তাদের ব্যাপারে আপসোস করে ধ্বংস না হয়ে যান। যারা আল্লাহর আদেশ-নিষেধ ও প্রমাণাদি বুঝতে চায় না তিনি তাদের উপর তাঁর শাস্তি ও লাঞ্ছনা অবধারিত করেন।
