আল-কাসাস: 63

Those upon whom the word will have come into effect will say, "Our Lord, these are the ones we led to error. We led them to error just as we were in error. We declare our disassociation [from them] to You. They did not used to worship [i.e., obey] us."

Those about whom the Word will have come true (to be punished) will say: "Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray, as we were astray ourselves. We declare our innocence (from them) before You. It was not us they worshipped."

Those against whom the word will come true will say, “Our Lord, these are the ones whom we led astray. We led them astray as we ourselves went astray. We negate before you our responsibility (in respect of them); it was not we whom they worshipped.”

Those against whom the Word will be realised will say: "Our Lord, these are the ones whom we led astray just as we ourselves strayed. We absolve ourselves before You of all blame. It was not us that they worshipped."

Those concerning whom the Word will have come true will say: Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray even as we ourselves were astray. We declare our innocence before Thee: us they never worshipped.

Those against whom the charge will be proved, will say: "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray: we led them astray, as we were astray ourselves: we free ourselves (from them) in Thy presence: it was not us they worshipped."

যাদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ প্রমাণিত হবে তারা বলবে- ‘হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! ওদেরকে আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম, ওদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম, যেমন আমরা নিজেরা বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম, আমরা তোমার কাছে দায়মুক্ত হচ্ছি (যে আমরা জোর ক’রে তাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করিনি)। এরা তো আমাদের ‘ইবাদাত করত না।

যাদের জন্য (শাস্তির) বাণী অবধারিত হবে তারা বলবে, ‘হে আমাদের রব, ওরা তো তারা যাদেরকে আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম। তাদেরকে আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম যেমন আমরা বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম। আমরা আপনার কাছে দায় মুক্তি চাচ্ছি। তারা তো আমাদের ইবাদাত করত না’।

যাদের জন্য শাস্তি অবধারিত হয়েছে তারা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের রাব্ব! এদেরকেও আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম, যেমন আমরা বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম; আপনার সমীপে আমরা দায়িত্ব হতে অব্যাহতি চাচ্ছি। এরা আমাদের ইবাদাত করতনা।

যাদের জন্য শাস্তির বাণী অবধারিত হয়েছে, তারা বলবে, ‘হে আমাদের রব! এরা তো তারা যাদেরকে আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম; আমরা এদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম যেমন আমরা বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম; আপনার সমীপে আমরা তাদের ব্যাপারে দায়মুক্ততা ঘোষণা করছি। এরা তো আমাদের ‘ইবাদাত করত না।’

যাদের জন্য শাস্তি অবধারিত হয়েছে তারা বলবে: হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক এদেরকেই আমরা বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম; এদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিলাম যেমন আমরাও বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছিলাম; আপনার সমীপে আমরা দায়িত্ব হতে সম্পর্কহীনতা ঘোষণা করছি। এরা আমাদের ইবাদত করত না।’

৬৩. কুফরির দিকে আহ্বানকারীদের মধ্যকার যাদের উপর আযাব অবধারিত হয়েছে তারা বললো: হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! এদেরকে আমরা পথভ্রষ্ট করেছি যেমনিভাবে আমরাও পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছি। আমরা আপনার নিকট তাদের থেকে দায়মুক্ত হচ্ছি। তারা মূলতঃ আমাদের পূজা করেনি। বরং তারা শয়তানেরই পূজা করেছে।
