And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allāh. That is from the favor of Allāh upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.

"And I have followed the religion of my fathers, - Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob)], and never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allah. This is from the Grace of Allah to us and to mankind, but most men thank not (i.e. they neither believe in Allah, nor worship Him).

and I have followed the way of my fathers, Ibrāhīm, IsHāq and Ya‘qūb. It is not for us that we associate any partners with Allah. All this is a part of the favor Allah has bestowed upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.

and I have adopted the way of my forefathers - Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It is not for us to associate any with Allah in His Divinity. It is out of Allah's grace upon us and upon mankind (that He did not require of us to serve any other than Allah), and yet most people do not give thanks.

And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It never was for us to attribute aught as partner to Allah. This is of the bounty of Allah unto us (the seed of Abraham) and unto mankind; but most men give not thanks.

"And I follow the ways of my fathers,- Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and never could we attribute any partners whatever to Allah: that (comes) of the grace of Allah to us and to mankind: yet most men are not grateful.

আমি আমার পূর্বপুরুষ ইবরাহীম, ইসহাক ও ইয়া‘কূবের আদর্শের অনুসরণ করি। আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে শরীক করা আমাদের কাজ নয়। এটা আমাদের প্রতি ও মানুষের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোকই শোকর করে না।

‘আর আমি অনুসরণ করেছি আমার পিতৃপুরুষ ইবরাহীম, ইসহাক ও ইয়াকূবের ধর্ম। আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে শরীক করা আমাদের জন্য সঙ্গত নয়। এটি আমাদের ও সকল মানুষের উপর আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না’।

আমি আমার পিতৃ পুরুষ ইবরাহীম, ইসহাক এবং ইয়াকূবের মতবাদ অনুসরণ করি। আল্লাহর সাথে কোন বস্তুকে শরীক করা আমাদের কাজ নয়, এটা আমাদের ও সমস্ত মানুষের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেনা।

‘আমি আমার পিতৃপুরুষ ইব্‌রাহীম, ইস্‌হাক এবং ইয়া’কূবের মিল্লাত অনুসরণ করি। আল্লাহ্‌র সাথে কোনো বস্তুকে শরীক করা আমাদের জন্য সংগত নয়। এটা আমাদের ও সমস্ত মানুষের প্রতি আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহ; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না।

আমি আমার পিতৃপুরুষ ইব্রাহীম, ইস্হাক এবং ইয়া‘কূবের ধর্ম অনুসরণ করি। আল্লাহর সাথে কোন বস্তুকে শরীক করা আমাদের কাজ নয়। এটা আমাদের ও সমস্ত‎ মানুষের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ; কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না।

৩৮. আমি অনুসরণ করি আমার পূর্বপুরুষ: ইব্রাহীম, ইসহাক ও ইয়াকূব (আলাইহিমুস-সালাম) এর ধর্মের। তা হল আল্লাহর তাওহীদের দ্বীন। আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করা আমাদের জন্য মোটেও উচিত হবে না। তিনিই এক ও অদ্বিতীয়। সেই তাওহীদ ও ঈমান যার উপর আমি ও আমার পূর্বপুরুষ প্রতিষ্ঠিত রয়েছি তা হল আমাদের উপর আল্লাহর বিশেষ অনুগ্রহ যে, তিনি আমাদেরকে এর জন্য তাওফীক দান করেছেন। আর অন্য সবার উপরও তাঁর অনুগ্রহ যে, তিনি তাদের প্রতি সেই তাওহীদের নেয়ামত দিয়েই নবীদেরকে পাঠিয়েছেন। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোকই আল্লাহর এ সকল নেয়ামতের কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে না বরং তারা তাঁর সাথে কুফরি করে।
