ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّى لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى كَيْدَ ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ
English Translations
That is so he [i.e., al-ʿAzeez] will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allāh does not guide the plan of betrayers.
[Then Yusuf (Joseph) said: "I asked for this enquiry] in order that he (Al-'Aziz) may know that I betrayed him not in secret. And, verily! Allah guides not the plot of the betrayers.
(Then Yūsuf said), “That was because he (the governor) may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not lead the guile of betrayers to success.
Joseph said: "I did this so that he [i.e. the chief) may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not allow the design of the treacherous to succeed.
(Then Joseph said: I asked for) this, that he (my lord) may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that surely Allah guideth not the snare of the betrayers.
"This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones.
বাংলা অনুবাদ
(ইউসুফ বলল) ‘আমার উদ্দেশ্য এই যে, সে (অর্থাৎ আযীয) যেন জানতে পারে যে, তার অনুপস্থিতিতে আমি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি আর আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের কৌশলকে অবশ্যই সফল হতে দেন না।’
এটি এ জন্য যে, যাতে সে জানতে পারে, আমি তার অনুপস্থিতিতে তার সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি। আর আল্লাহ অবশ্যই বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের চক্রান্ত লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছতে দেন না।
সে বললঃ আমি এটা বলেছিলাম যাতে সে জানতে পারে যে, তার অনুপস্থিতিতে আমি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি এবং আল্লাহ বিশ্বাস ঘাতকদের ষড়যন্ত্র সফল করেননা।
এটা এ জন্যে যে, যাতে সে জানতে পারে, তার অনুপস্থিতিতে আমি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি এবং নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্ বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের ষড়যন্ত্র সফল করেন না।’
এটা এজন্য, যাতে সে জানতে পারে যে, তার অনুপস্থিতিতে আমি তার প্রতি বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করিনি এবং নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের ষড়যন্ত্র সফল করেন না।’
৫২. আযীযের স্ত্রী বলল: আমি যখন স্বীকার করলাম যে, আমিই তাকে ধোঁকা দেয়ার চেষ্টা করেছিলাম; সে আসলেই সত্যবাদী তখন ইউসুফও যেন জানতে পারে যে, আমি তার অনুপস্থিতিতে তার প্রতি কোন অপবাদ দেইনি। মূলতঃ যা ঘটে গেছে তা থেকে এ কথা আমার কাছে স্পষ্ট যে, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ মিথ্যাবাদী ও অপকৌশলকারীকে সফল হতে দেন না।
