আল-কালাম: 19

So there came upon it [i.e., the garden] an affliction from your Lord while they were asleep.

Then there passed by on the (garden) something (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.

Then, there whirled around it a whirl (of calamity) from your Lord, while they were asleep.

Thereupon a calamity from your Lord passed over it while they were asleep,

Then a visitation from thy Lord came upon it while they slept

Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep.

অতঃপর তোমার প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে বাগানে এক বিপদ এসে পড়ল যখন তারা ছিল নিদ্রিত।

অতঃপর তোমার রবের পক্ষ থেকে এক প্রদক্ষিণকারী (আগুন) বাগানের ওপর দিয়ে প্রদক্ষিণ করে গেল, আর তারা ছিল ঘুমন্ত।

অতঃপর তোমার রবের নিকট হতে এক বিপর্যয় হানা দিল সেই উদ্যানে, যখন তারা ছিল নিদ্রিত।

অতঃপর আপনার রবের কাছ থেকে এক বিপর্যয় হানা দিল সে উদ্যানে, যখন তারা ছিল ঘুমন্ত।

অতঃপর সেই বাগানে তোমার প্রতিপালকের নিকট হতে এক আযাব অতিবাহিত হল, যখন তারা ছিল নিদ্রিত।

১৯. ফলে আল্লাহ সে বাগানের প্রতি আগুন প্রেরণ করেছেন। যা তারা ঘুমিয়ে থাকা অবস্থায় বাগানের ফলমূল খেয়ে ফেলে। তারা তা প্রতিহত করতে পারে নি।
