আল-মায়িদা: 80

You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved [i.e., the polytheists]. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allāh has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.

You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Auliya' (protectors and helpers). Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them, for that (reason) Allah's Wrath fell upon them and in torment they will abide.

You see many of them take the infidels (the pagans) for friends. Indeed, evil is what they have sent ahead for themselves, for Allah is angry with them, and they are to remain in torment for ever.

And now you can see many of them taking the unbelievers (instead of the believers) for their allies. Indeed they have prepared evil for themselves. Allah is angry with them, and they shall abide in chastisement.

Thou seest many of them making friends with those who disbelieve. Surely ill for them is that which they themselves send on before them: that Allah will be wroth with them and in the doom they will abide.

Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah's wrath is on them, and in torment will they abide.

তাদের অনেককে তুমি এমন লোকেদের সঙ্গে বন্ধুত্ব করতে দেখবে যারা কুফরী করে। তাদের আত্মা তাদের জন্য আগে যা পাঠিয়েছে তা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট যার জন্য আল্লাহর গোস্বা তাদের উপর পতিত হয়েছে আর তারা চিরস্থায়ী ‘আযাবে নিমজ্জিত হবে।

তাদের মধ্যে অনেককে তুমি দেখতে পাবে, যারা কাফিরদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করে। তারা যা নিজদের জন্য পেশ করেছে, তা কত মন্দ যে, আল্লাহ তাদের উপর ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন এবং তারা আযাবেই স্থায়ী হবে।

তুমি তাদের (ইয়াহুদীদের) অনেককে দেখবে, তারা কাফিরদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করছে; যে কাজ তারা ভবিষ্যতের জন্য করেছে তা নিঃসন্দেহে মন্দ, আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন। ফলতঃ তারা আযাবে চিরকাল থাকবে।

তাদের অনেককে আপনি কাফেরদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করতে দেখবেন। তাদের অন্তর যা তাদের জন্য পেশ করেছে (তাদের করা কাজগুলো) কত নিকৃষ্ট! যে কারণে আল্লাহ তাদের উপর রাগান্বিত হয়েছেন। আর তারা আযাবেই স্থায়ী হবে।

তাদের অনেককেই তুমি কাফিরদের সঙ্গে বন্ধুত্ব করতে দেখবে। তারা নিজেরা যা অগ্রে প্রেরণ করেছে তা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট। যে কারণে আল্লাহ তাদের ওপর রাগান্বিত হয়েছেন। তারা চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি ভোগ করবে।

৮০. হে রাসূল! আপনি উক্ত বহু কাফির ইহুদিকে দেখবেন কাফিরদেরকে ভালোবাসতে ও তাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হতে এবং আপনি ও তাওহীদপন্থীদের সাথে শত্রুতা করতে। তারা যে কাফিরদের সাথে বন্ধুত্বে অগ্রসর হচ্ছে তা কতোই না নিকৃষ্ট। কারণ, এটি তাদের উপর আল্লাহর গযব নাযিল হওয়া এবং তাদেরকে চিরন্তন জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করানোর একটি বিশেষ উপকরণ। যা থেকে তারা কখনোই বের হবে না।
