আল-মায়িদা: 60

Say, "Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allāh? [It is that of] those whom Allāh has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of ṭāghūt. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way."

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshipped Taghut (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell-fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)."

Say, “Shall I tell you about the ones whose retribution with Allah is worse than that (which you deem bad)? They are those whom Allah has subjected to His curse and to His wrath; and He has turned some of them into apes and swine, those who worshipped Tāghūt (Satan, the Rebel). Those are worse in their situation, and far more astray from the straight path.”

Then say to them: 'Shall I tell you about those whose retribution with Allah is even worse? They are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and who incurred His wrath and some of whom were changed into apes and swine, and who served the false deities. Such have an even worse rank and have strayed farther away from the right path.

Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for retribution with Allah? (Worse is the case of him) whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath fallen and of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in worse plight and further astray from the plain road.

Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!"

বল, আমি তোমাদেরকে কি এর চেয়ে খারাপ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব যা আল্লাহর নিকট প্রতিদান হিসেবে আছে? (আর তা হল) যাকে আল্লাহ লা‘নাত করেছেন, যার উপর তিনি ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন, যাদের কতককে তিনি বানর ও শুকরে পরিণত করেছেন আর যারা তাগুতের ‘ইবাদাত করেছে তারাই সবচেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট মানের লোক এবং সরল সত্য পথ হতে সবচেয়ে বিচ্যুত।

বল, ‘আমি কি তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর নিকট পরিণতির বিচারে এর চেয়ে মন্দ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব? যাকে আল্লাহ লা‘নত দিয়েছেন এবং যার উপর তিনি ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন? আর যাদের মধ্য থেকে বাঁদর ও শূকর বানিয়েছেন এবং তারা তাগূতের উপাসনা করেছে। তারাই অবস্থানে মন্দ এবং সোজা পথ থেকে সর্বাধিক বিচ্যুত’।

তুমি বলে দাওঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এরূপ পন্থা হিসাবে ওটা হতেও (যাকে তোমরা মন্দ বলে জান) এরূপ সংবাদ দিব যা আল্লাহর কাছে অধিক নিকৃষ্ট? ওটা ঐ সব লোকের পন্থা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং যাদের প্রতি গযব নাযিল করেছেন ও যাদেরকে বানর ও শুকরে রূপান্তরিত করেছেন এবং যারা তাগুতের ইবাদাত করছে তারা মর্যাদার দিক দিয়ে নিকৃষ্টতর এবং সরল পথ হতে সর্বাধিক বিচ্যুত ।

বলুন, ‘আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এর চেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট পরিণামের সংবাদ দেব যা আল্লাহর কাছে আছে? যাকে আল্লাহ লা’নত করেছেন এবং যার উপর তিনি ক্রোধান্বিত হয়েছেন। আর যাদের কাউকে তিনি বানর ও কাউকে শূকর করেছেন এবং (তাদের কেউ) তাগূতের ইবাদাত করেছে। তারাই অবস্থানের দিক থেকে নিকৃষ্ট এবং সরল পথ থেকে সবচেয়ে বেশি বিচ্যুত’।

বল:‎ ‘আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এর চেয়ে নিকৃষ্ট পরিণামের সংবাদ দেব যা আল্লাহর নিকট আছে? যাকে আল্লাহ লা‘নত করেছেন, যার ওপর তিনি রাগান্বিত, যাদের কতককে তিনি বানর ও কতককে শূকর করেছেন এবং যারা তাগূতের ইবাদত করেছে মর্যাদায় তারাই নিকৃষ্ট এবং সরল পথ হতে সর্বাধিক বিচ্যুত।

৬০. হে রাসূল! আপনি বলে দিন: আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এদের চেয়ে বেশি দোষী ও কঠিন শাস্তি পাওয়ার উপযুক্তদের সংবাদ দেবো না?! তারা হলো মূলতঃ এদেরই পূর্বসূরি যাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাঁর রহমত থেকে বিতাড়িত এবং তাদের সুন্দর আকৃতিটুকু বিকৃত করে তাদেরকে শূকর ও বানরে পরিণত করেছেন। উপরন্তু তাদের কিছু সংখ্যককে তাগূতের পূজারী বানিয়েছেন। তাগূত হলো সেই ব্যক্তি আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে যার ইবাদাত ও আনুগত্য করা হয় এবং সেও এ ব্যাপারে খুশি। উক্ত ব্যক্তিবর্গের অবস্থান কিয়ামতের দিবসে সর্বনিকৃষ্ট এবং সঠিক পথের অনুসন্ধানে তারাই সবচেয়ে বেশি পথভ্রষ্ট।
