আরবি
أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
English Translations
Do you not know that to Allāh belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills, and Allāh is over all things competent.
Know you not that to Allah (Alone) belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! He punishes whom He wills and He forgives whom He wills. And Allah is Able to do all things.
Do you not know that to Allah alone belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whomsoever He wills and forgives whomsoever He wills. Allah is powerful over everything.
Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He chastises whom He wills and forgives whom He wills. Allah is All-Powerful.
Knowest thou not that unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He punisheth whom He will, and forgiveth whom He will. Allah is Able to do all things.
Knowest thou not that to Allah (alone) belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He punisheth whom He pleaseth, and He forgiveth whom He pleaseth: and Allah hath power over all things.
বাংলা অনুবাদ
তুমি কি জান না আল্লাহ, আকাশসমূহ ও যমীনের সার্বভৌমত্ব তাঁরই, যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি শাস্তি দেন, যাকে ইচ্ছে ক্ষমা করেন, আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান।
তুমি কি জান না যে, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ, তাঁর জন্যই আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের রাজত্ব, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা আযাব দেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন, আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
তুমি কি জাননা যে, আল্লাহরই জন্য রয়েছে আধিপত্য আসমানসমূহে এবং যমীনে, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি দেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা ক্ষমা করেন! আর আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ের উপর পূর্ণ ক্ষমতাবান।
আপনি কি জানেন না যে, আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সার্বভৌমত্ব আল্লাহরই? যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি শাস্তি দেন আর যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি ক্ষমা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
তুমি কি জান না যে, আসমান ও জমিনের আধিপত্য আল্লাহরই, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন শাস্তি দেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা করেন ক্ষমা করেন। আল্লাহ সকল বিষয়ে সর্বময় ক্ষমতার অধিকারী।
৪০. হে রাসূল! আপনি জানেন যে, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা‘আলা আসমান ও জমিনের মালিক। তিনি যা চান সেভাবে তা করতে পারেন। তিনি যাকে চান ইনসাফ ভিত্তিক শাস্তি দিবেন। আর যাকে চান স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে ক্ষমা করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা‘আলা সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাশীল। কোন বস্তু তাঁকে অক্ষম করতে পারে না।

আপনি কি জানেন না যে, আসমানসমূহ ও যমীনের সার্বভৌমত্ব আল্লাহরই? যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি শাস্তি দেন আর যাকে ইচ্ছে তিনি ক্ষমা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
