5 আল-মায়িদা Al-Ma'idah · 120 আয়াত المائدة
আরবি
وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
English Translations
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allāh, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.
And if only the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) had believed (in Muhammad SAW) and warded off evil (sin, ascribing partners to Allah) and had become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2) We would indeed have blotted out their sins and admitted them to Gardens of pleasure (in Paradise).
If the People of the Book had believed and feared Allah, We would have written off their evil deeds and would have surely admitted them to the Gardens of Bliss.
Had the People of the Book only believed and been God-fearing, We should surely have effaced from them their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of Bliss.
If only the People of the Scripture would believe and ward off (evil), surely We should remit their sins from them and surely We should bring them into Gardens of Delight.
If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.
বাংলা অনুবাদ
গ্রন্থধারীরা যদি ঈমান আনতো আর তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত তাহলে আমি তাদের পাপ অবশ্যই মোচন করে দিতাম আর তাদেরকে নিআমতে ভরা জান্নাতে অবশ্যই দাখিল করতাম।
আর যদি কিতাবীরা ঈমান আনত এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত তবে অবশ্যই আমি তাদের থেকে পাপগুলো দূর করে দিতাম এবং অবশ্যই তাদেরকে আরামদায়ক জান্নাতসমূহে প্রবেশ করাতাম।
আর এই আহলে কিতাব (ইয়াহুদী ও নাসারাহ্) যদি ঈমান আনত এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত, আমি অবশ্যই তাদের সমস্ত অন্যায় ক্ষমা করে দিতাম এবং অবশ্যই তাদেরকে নি‘আমাতের উদ্যানসমূহে দাখিল করতাম।
আর যদি কিতাবীরা ঈমান আনত এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত তাহলে আমরা তাদের পাসমূহ অবশ্যই মুছে ফেলতাম এবং তাদেরকে সুখময় জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাতাম।
আহলে কিতাবগণ যদি ঈমান আনত ও তাক্বওয়া অবলম্বন করত তাহলে আমি তাদের দোষ অবশ্যই ক্ষমা করতাম এবং তাদেরকে সুখময় জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাতাম।
৬৫. ইহুদি ও খ্রিস্টানরা মুহাম্মাদ (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) এর আনা বিষয়ের প্রতি বিশ্বাসী হয়ে পাপ থেকে দূরে থেকে আল্লাহকে ভয় করলে আমি তাদের কৃত সকল গুনাহ মাফ করে দেবো। উপরন্তু আমি তাদেরকে কিয়ামতের দিন নিয়ামতপূর্ণ জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাবো। তারা সেখানের অফুরন্ত নিয়ামত ভোগ করবে।

আর যদি কিতাবীরা ঈমান আনত এবং তাকওয়া অবলম্বন করত তাহলে আমরা তাদের পাসমূহ অবশ্যই মুছে ফেলতাম এবং তাদেরকে সুখময় জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাতাম।
