মারইয়াম: 35

It is not [befitting] for Allāh to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is.

It is not for Allah to have a son. Pure is He. When He decides a thing, He simply says to it, “Be” and it comes to be.

It does not befit Allah to take for Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing He only says: "Be" and it is.

It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.

It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

সন্তান গ্রহণ করা আল্লাহর কাজ নয়, তিনি পবিত্র, মহান; যখন তিনি কিছু করার সিদ্ধান্ত করেন তখন তার জন্য শুধু বলেন, ‘হয়ে যাও’, আর তা হয়ে যায়।

সন্তান গ্রহণ করা আল্লাহর কাজ নয়। তিনি পবিত্র-মহান। তিনি যখন কোন বিষয়ের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করেন তখন তদুদ্দেশ্যে শুধু বলেন, ‘হও’, অমনি তা হয়ে যায়।

সন্তান গ্রহণ করা আল্লাহর কাজ নয়, তিনি পবিত্র, মহিমাময়; তিনি যখন কিছু স্থির করেন তখন বলেনঃ ‘হও’ এবং তা হয়ে যায়।

আল্লাহ্ এমন নন যে, কোনো সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন, তিনি পবিত্র মহিমাময়। তিনি যখন কিছু স্থির করেন, তখন সেটার জন্য বলেন, ‘হও’ তাতেই তা হয়ে যায়।

সন্তান গ্রহণ করা আল্লাহর জন্য সমীচীন নয়, তিনি পবিত্র মহিমাময়। তিনি যখন কিছু স্থির করেন তখন বলেন, ‘হও’ আর তা হয়ে যায়।

৩৫. কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করা আল্লাহর জন্য মানানসই নয়। তিনি এ থেকে পূত-পবিত্র। যখন তিনি কোন কিছু করতে চান তখন তাঁর জন্য এটিই যথেষ্ট যে, তিনি সে ব্যাপারটিকে বলবেন: হয়ে যাও তখন তা অনিবার্যভাবে হয়ে যাবে। আর যিনি এমন তিনি তো সন্তান থেকে অবশ্যই পবিত্র।
