মারইয়াম: 45

O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]."

"O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]

My dear father, I fear lest a punishment from the All- Merciful (Allah) should afflict you, and you become a companion of Satan.”

Father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Compassionate Lord might strike you and you may end up as one of Satan's companions?"

O my father! Lo! I fear lest a punishment from the Beneficent overtake thee so that thou become a comrade of the devil.

"O my father! I fear lest a Penalty afflict thee from (Allah) Most Gracious, so that thou become to Satan a friend."

হে আমার পিতা! আমার ভয় হয় যে, দয়াময়ের ‘আযাব আপনাকে ধরে বসবে, তখন আপনি শয়তানের বন্ধু হয়ে যাবেন।’

‘হে আমার পিতা, আমি আশংকা করছি যে, পরম করুণাময়ের (পক্ষ থেকে) তোমাকে আযাব স্পর্শ করবে, ফলে তুমি শয়তানের সঙ্গী হয়ে যাবে।’

হে আমার পিতা! আমি আশংকা করি, তোমাকে আল্লাহর শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে এবং তুমি শাইতানের সাথী হয়ে পড়বে।

‘হে আমার পিতা! নিশ্চয় আমি আশংকা করছি যে, আপনাকে দয়াময়ের শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে, তখন আপনি হয়ে পড়বেন শয়তানের বন্ধু।

হে আমার পিতা! আমি আশংকা করি যে, আপনাকে দয়াময়ের শাস্তি‎ স্পর্শ করবে, তখন আপনি হয়ে পড়বেন শয়তানের বন্ধু।’

৪৫. হে আমার পিতা! আপনি যদি কুফরির উপর মৃত্যু বরণ করেন তাহলে আমি দয়ালু প্রভুর পক্ষ থেকে আপনার ব্যাপারে আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি। তখন আপনি শয়তানকে ভালোবাসার দরুন আযাবের ক্ষেত্রে তারই সাথী হবেন।
