ইয়া-সীন: 47

And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allāh has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allāh had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error."

And when it is said to them: "Spend of that with which Allah has provided you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe: "Shall we feed those whom, if Allah willed, He (Himself) would have fed? You are only in a plain error."

And when it is said to them, “Spend (to the needy) from the provision Allah has given to you”, the disbelievers say to the believers, “Shall we feed those whom Allah could have fed, if Allah so willed? You are but in open error.”

And when it is said to them: “Spend (in the Way of Allah) out of the sustenance that Allah has provided you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed him whom, Allah would have fed, had He so wished?” Say: “You are in evident error.”

And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed? Ye are in naught else than error manifest.

And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error."

তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয় ‘আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে রিযক দিয়েছেন তাত্থেকে তোমরা (আল্লাহর পথে) ব্যয় কর; তখন কাফিররা মু’মিনদেরকে বলে, ‘‘আমরা কি এমন লোককে খাওয়াবো আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে করলে যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট পথভ্রষ্টতে পড়ে আছ।

আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে রিয্ক দিয়েছেন তা থেকে তোমরা ব্যয় কর’, তখন কাফিররা মুমিনদেরকে বলে, ‘আমরা কি তাকে খাদ্য দান করব, আল্লাহ চাইলে যাকে খাদ্য দান করতেন? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট পথভ্রষ্টতায় রয়েছ’।

যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যে জীবনোপকরণ দিয়েছেন তা হতে ব্যয় কর তখন কাফিরেরা মু’মিনদেরকে বলেঃ যাকে ইচ্ছা করলে আল্লাহ খাওয়াতে পারতেন আমরা কেন তাকে খাওয়াব? তোমরাতো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছ।

আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, 'আল্লাহ্ তোমাদেরকে যে রিযিক দিয়েছেন তা থেকে ব্যয় কর' তখন কাফিররা মুমিনদেরকে বলে, 'যাকে আল্লাহ্ ইচ্ছা করলে খাওয়াতে পারতেন আমরা কি তাকে খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো স্পষ্ট বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছ।'

আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয় : আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা দান করেছেন তা থেকে ব্যয় কর, তখন কাফিররা মু’মিনদেরকে বলে : আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে যাকে খাওয়াতে পারতেন, আমরা তাকে কেন খাওয়াব? তোমরা তো রয়েছ প্রকাশ্য বিভ্রান্তিতে।

৪৭. আর যখন এসব গোঁড়াপন্থীদেরকে বলা হয়, তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর দেয়া জীবিকা হতে তোমরা এসব ফকীর মিসকীনদেরকে সাহায্য করো। তখন তারা অনীহাভরে মুমিনদেরকে বলে, আমরা কি তাদেরকে খাওয়াবো যাদেরকে চাইলে আল্লাহ নিজেই খাওয়াতে পারেন। অতএব আমরা তার বিপরীত কিছু করছি না। ওহে মুমিনরা! তোমরা তো সুস্পষ্ট ভুল ও সত্য থেকে দূরে রয়েছো।
