ইয়া-সীন: 52

They will say, "O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our sleeping place?" [The reply will be], "This is what the Most Merciful had promised, and the messengers told the truth."

They will say: "Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep." (It will be said to them): "This is what the Most Beneficent (Allah) had promised, and the Messengers spoke truth!"

They will say, “Woe to us! Who has raised us from our sleeping place? “This is what RaHmān (the All-Merciful Allah) had promised, and the messengers had told the truth.

(nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.”

Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth.

They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say:) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!"

তারা বলবে, ‘হায় আমাদের দুর্ভোগ! আমাদেরকে আমাদের ঘুমের জায়গা থেকে কে উঠালো? (তাদেরকে জবাব দেয়া হবে) ‘‘এটা হল তাই- দয়াময় আল্লাহ যার ও‘য়াদা দিয়েছিলেন, আর রসূলগণও সত্য কথাই বলেছিলেন।’

তারা বলবে, ‘হায় আমাদের দুর্ভোগ! কে আমাদেরকে আমাদের নিদ্রাস্থল থেকে উঠালো’? (তাদেরকে বলা হবে) ‘এটা তো তা যার ওয়াদা পরম করুনাময় করেছিলেন এবং রাসূলগণ সত্য বলেছিলেন’।

তারা বলবেঃ হায়! দুর্ভোগ আমাদের! কে আমাদেরকে আমাদের নিদ্রাস্থল হতে উঠালো? দয়াময় (আল্লাহ) তো এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন এবং রাসূলগণ সত্যই বলেছিলেন।

তারা বলবে, 'হায়! দুর্ভোগ আমাদের! কে আমাদেরকে আমাদের নিদ্রাস্থল থেকে উঠাল? দয়াময় আল্লাহ্‌ তো এরই প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন এবং রাসূলগণ সত্যই বলেছিলেন।’

তারা বলবে : হায়, দুর্ভোগ আমাদের! কে আমাদেরকে আমাদের কবর থেকে উঠাল? দয়াময় আল্লাহ তো এরই ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং রাসূলগণ সত্যই বলেছিলেন।

৫২. পুনরুত্থানে অবিশ্বাসী ও অস্বীকারকারী এসব কাফির লজ্জিত হয়ে বলবে, হায়! আমাদের ধ্বংস। কে আমাদেরকে কবর থেকে উঠাল? তখন তাদের প্রশ্নের উত্তরে বলা হবে, এটিই আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকার যা সঙ্ঘটিত হওয়া অবধারিত। আর রাসূলগণ এব্যাপারে যে বার্তা পৌঁছিয়েছেন তাতে তাঁরা সত্য ছিলেন।
