আল-আনআম: 34

And certainly were messengers denied before you, but they were patient over the denial, and they were harmed until Our victory came to them. And none can alter the words [i.e., decrees] of Allāh. And there has certainly come to you some information about the [previous] messengers.

Verily, (many) Messengers were denied before you (O Muhammad SAW), but with patience they bore the denial, and they were hurt, till Our Help reached them, and none can alter the Words (Decisions) of Allah. Surely there has reached you the information (news) about the Messengers (before you).

Indeed, many messengers have been rejected before you, but they stood patient against their rejection, and they were persecuted until Our help came to them. No one can change the words of Allah, and of course, some accounts of the messengers have already come to you.

Messengers before you have been given the lie to, and they endured with patience their being given the lie to and being persecuted until the time when Our help reached them. None has the power to alter the words of Allah. Indeed some account of the Messengers has already reached you.

Messengers indeed have been denied before thee, and they were patient under the denial and the persecution till Our succour reached them. There is none to alter the decisions of Allah. Already there hath reached thee (somewhat) of the tidings of the messengers (We sent before).

Rejected were the messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those messengers.

তোমার পূর্বেও রসূলগণকে মিথ্যে মনে করা হয়েছে কিন্তু তাদেরকে মিথ্যে মনে করা এবং কষ্ট দেয়া সত্ত্বেও তারা ধৈর্যধারণ করেছে, যতক্ষণ না তাদের কাছে আমার সাহায্য এসেছে। আল্লাহর ওয়াদার পরিবর্তন হয় না, নাবীগণের কিছু সংবাদ তো তোমার নিকট পৌঁছেছেই।

আর অবশ্যই তোমার পূর্বে অনেক রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করা হয়েছে, অতঃপর তারা তাদেরকে অস্বীকার করা ও কষ্ট দেয়ার ক্ষেত্রে ধৈর্যধারণ করেছে, যতক্ষণ না আমার সাহায্য তাদের কাছে এসেছে। আর আল্লাহর বাণীসমূহের কোন পরিবর্তনকারী নেই এবং অবশ্যই রাসূলগণের কিছু সংবাদ তোমার কাছে এসেছে।

তোমার পূর্বে বহু নাবী ও রাসূলকেও মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করেছে, অতঃপর তারা এই মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্নকে এবং তাদের প্রতি কৃত নির্যাতন ও উৎপীড়নকে অম্লান বদনে সহ্য করেছে, যে পর্যন্ত না তাদের কাছে আমার সাহায্য এসে পৌঁছেছে। আল্লাহর আদেশকে পরিবর্তন করার কেহ নেই। তোমার কাছে পূর্ববর্তী কোন কোন নাবীর কিছু কিছু সংবাদ ও কাহিনীতো পৌঁছে গেছে।

আর আপনার আগেও অনেক রাসূলের উপর মিথ্যারোপ করা হয়েছিল; কিন্তু তাদের উপর মিথ্যারোপ করা ও কষ্ট দেয়ার পরও তারা ধৈর্য ধারণ করেছিল, যে পর্যন্ত না আমাদের সাহায্য তাদের কাছে এসেছে। আর আল্লাহ্‌র বাণীসমূহের কোনো পরীবর্তনকারী নেই। আর অবশ্যই রাসূলগণের কিছু সংবাদ আপনার কাছে এসেছে।

তোমার পূর্বেও অনেক রাসূলকে অবশ্যই মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করা হয়েছিল; কিন্তু তাদেরকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করা ও কষ্ট দেয়া সত্ত্বেও তারা ধৈর্য ধারণ করেছিল যে পর্যন্ত না আমার সাহায্য তাদের নিকট এসেছে। আল্লাহর আদেশ কেউ পরিবর্তন করতে পারে না, রাসূলগণের সম্বন্ধে কিছু সংবাদ তো তোমার নিকট এসেছেই।

৩৪. আপনি মনে করবেন না যে, এ মিথ্যারোপ শুধু আপনার আনীত বিধানের সাথেই। বরং আপনার পূর্বেও অনেক রাসূলকে মিথ্যারোপ করা হয়েছে এবং তাঁদের সম্প্রদায় তাঁদেরকে কষ্টও দিয়েছে। তবে তাঁরা দা’ওয়াতের ক্ষেত্রে ধৈর্য ও আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদের মাধ্যমে এর মুকাবিলা করেছেন। পরিশেষে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তাঁদের উপর সাহায্য এসেছে। আল্লাহ তা‘আলার নির্ধারিত সাহায্য এবং রাসূলদের সাথে দেয়া ওয়াদা পরিবর্তন করার কেউ নেই। হে রাসূল! আপনার নিকট আপনার পূর্বের রাসূলদের সংবাদ এসেছে। অর্থাৎ তাঁরা স্বজাতির কাছ থেকে যে কষ্ট পেয়েছেন এবং আল্লাহ তা‘আলা শত্রুদেরকে ধ্বংস করে তাঁদেরকে সাহায্য করেছেন সে সংবাদ আপনার নিকট এসে গেছে।
