আল-আনআম: 81

And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allāh that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?"

And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allah things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know."

How can I fear that which you associate with Him, while you do not fear (the evil fate of) your having associated with Allah something for which He did not send down to you any authority? Now, which of the two parties has more right to be in peace? (Tell me) if you know.

Why should I fear those whom you have associated (with Allah in His divinity) when you do not fear associating others with Allah in His divinity - something for which He has sent down to you no authority. Then, which of the two parties has better title to security? Tell us, if you have any knowledge!

How should I fear that which ye set up beside Him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which He hath revealed unto you no warrant? Which of the two factions hath more right to safety? (Answer me that) if ye have knowledge.

"How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.

তোমরা যাদেরকে (আল্লাহর) অংশীদার স্থির করেছ আমি তাদেরকে কীভাবে ভয় করতে পারি, যেখানে তোমরা আল্লাহর অংশীদার বানিয়ে নিতে ভয় কর না যে সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ কোন প্রমাণই নাযিল করেননি। নিরাপত্তা লাভের ব্যাপারে (এ) দু’টি দলের মধ্যে কোনটি বেশি হকদার? বল, যদি তোমাদের জানা থাকে।

‘তোমরা যা শরীক করেছ কীভাবে আমি তাকে ভয় করব? অথচ তোমরা ভয় করছ না যে, তোমরা শরীক করেছ আল্লাহর সাথে এমন কিছু, যার পক্ষে তিনি তোমাদের উপর কোন প্রমাণ নাযিল করেননি। অতএব কোন্ দল নিরাপত্তার বেশি হকদার, যদি তোমরা জান’?

তোমাদের মনগড়া ও বানানো শরীকদেরকে আমি কিরূপে ভয় করতে পারি? অথচ তোমরা এই ভয় করছনা যে, আল্লাহর সাথে যাদেরকে তোমরা শরীক করছ তাদের ব্যাপারে আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাছে কোন দলীল প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি, আমাদের দুই দলের মধ্যে কারা অধিকতর শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা লাভের অধিকারী যদি তোমাদের জানা থাকে তাহলে বলত?

‘আর তোমরা যাকে আল্লাহ্‌র শরীক কর আমি তাকে কিরূপে ভয় করব? অথচ তোমরা ভয় করছ না যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ্‌র সাথে শরীক করছ এমন কিছু,যার পক্ষে তিনি তোমাদের কাছে কোনো প্রমাণ নাযিল করেন নি। কাজেই যদি তোমরা জান তবে বল, দু‘দলের মধ্যে কোন দল নিরাপত্তা লাভের বেশী হকদার।’

তোমরা যাকে আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক কর আমি তাকে কিভাবে ভয় করব? অথচ তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করতে ভয় কর না, যে বিষয়ে তিনি তোমাদেরকে কোন সনদ দেননি। সুতরাং যদি তোমরা জান তবে বল:‎ দু’ দলের মধ্যে কোন দল নিরাপত্তা লাভের বেশি হকদার।’

৮১. তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া যে মূর্তিগুলোর পূজা করছো সেগুলোকে আমি ভয় করবো কেন। অথচ তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করাকে ভয় পাচ্ছো না। যখন তোমরা বিনা প্রমাণে তাঁর সাথে তাঁর সৃষ্টিকে শরীক করছো?! সুতরাং কোন্ সমষ্টিটি নিরাপত্তা ও বিপদশূন্যতার নিকটবর্তী; তাওহীদপন্থীদের সমষ্টি না মুশরিকদের? তোমরা এতদুভয়ের উত্তমটি জেনে থাকলে তারই অনুসরণ করো। নিঃসন্দেহে তাওহীদপন্থী মু’মিনদের সমষ্টিই সর্বোত্তম।
