And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst?

And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?"

And they (the infidels) will say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see those men (here in Hell) whom we used to count amongst the worst? (i.e the Muslims whom the infidels used to treat as the worst people among them)

They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked?

And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked?

And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones?

তারা বলবে- ব্যাপার কী! আমরা যে লোকগুলোকে (দুনিয়ায়) খুব খারাপ বলে গণ্য করতাম তাদেরকে তো দেখছি না।

তারা আরো বলবে, ‘আমাদের কী হল যে, আমরা যাদের মন্দ গণ্য করতাম সে সকল লোককে এখানে দেখছি না।’

তারা আরও বলবেঃ আমাদের কি হল যে, আমরা যে সব লোককে মন্দ বলে গণ্য করতাম তাদেরকে দেখতে পাচ্ছিনা?

তারা আরও বলবে, 'আমাদের কী হল যে, আমরা যেসব লোককে মন্দ বলে গণ্য করতাম তাদেরকে দেখতে পাচ্ছি না।

তারা আরও বলবে : আমাদের কী হল? আমরা যেসব লোককে খারাপ বলে গণ্য করতাম, তাদেরকে দেখতে পাচ্ছি না!

৬২. অবাধ্য অহঙ্কারীরা বললো: আমাদের কী হল যে, আমাদের সাথে এমন কিছু ব্যক্তিকে দেখতে পাচ্ছি না যাদেরকে আমরা দুনিয়াতে এমন হতভাগা ধারণা করতাম যারা শাস্তির হকদার।
