Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allāh] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise.

Verily, We made the mountains to glorify Our Praises with him [Dawud (David)] in the 'Ashi (i.e. after the mid-day till sunset) and Ishraq (i.e. after the sunrise till mid-day).

We had subjugated the mountains to join him (in) making tasbīH (i.e. pronouncing Allah’s purity) at evening and sunrise,

With him We had subjected the mountains that they join him in celebrating Allah's glory, evening and morning,

Lo! We subdued the hills to hymn the praises (of their Lord) with him at nightfall and sunrise,

It was We that made the hills declare, in unison with him, Our Praises, at eventide and at break of day,

আমি পর্বতমালাকে কাজে নিয়োজিত করেছিলাম, তারা তার সঙ্গে সকাল-সন্ধ্যা আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করত।

আমি পর্বতমালাকে অনুগত করেছিলাম, তার সাথে এগুলো সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় আমার তাসবীহ পাঠ করত।

আমি নিয়োজিত করেছিলাম পর্বতমালাকে, ওরা সকাল সন্ধ্যায় তার সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করত।

নিশ্চয় আমরা অনুগত করেছিলাম পর্বতমালাকে, যেন এগুলো সকাল- সন্ধ্যায় তার সাথে আমার পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা করে

আমি পাহাড়গুলোকে অনুগত করে দিয়েছিলাম, তার সাথে তারা সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় আমার তাসবীহ পাঠ করত।

১৮. আমি দাঊদ (আলাইহিস-সালাম) এর সাথে পাহাড়কে পরিচালিত করেছি। তিনি যখন দিনের শুরুতে ও শেষভাগে তাসবীহ পাঠ করতেন তখন তারাও তাঁর সাথে তাসবীহ পড়তো।
